Regeron- nano-liposome-encapsulated synthetic prolactin and hGH

Finally some products that contains the hGH, along with that apple stem cell ingredient..wonder how long it'll be before a hair product is out: http://shop.3lab.com/store/show/TL00090
“M” Cream hydrates and firms the skin with Nano-Claire GY™, the world’s first bioengineered growth hormone. PhytoCellTec™ Malus Domestica, stem cells from a rare Swiss Apple that have been proven to slow down and delay the aging process. Happybelle, a plant-based beta endorphin, stimulates key enzymes in the receptor system helping to relieve skin aggressors and bring out natural radiance while fighting the root causes of environmental damage and also contains Osilift which immediately firms the skin and relaxes muscle contractions.

etc.

Don't see anything with the prolactin..yet. It's new though:

I think this is something I'm going to give a try on certain areas. Maybe the one with the apple stem cell ingredient.

I've noticed in the various hair loss forums over the years..talks about hGH. I know some even claimed regrowth taking it orally or injecting or however they were using it. Maybe there's something about using it topically that doesn't make sense...otherwise the lack of interest is perplexing :-s I'd prefer to use it topically.

I tried that some time ago..will try again though. I'm also seeing if the skin product company mentioned above is interested in making such a product. Will even ask Elsom, again.

I guess it's also called NanoClaire-LY-hair

Bump for any newcomers who may be interested.

I know Elsom was going to look into getting the hGH ingredient..but if they aren't able to I'll most likely try the one mentioned above after things cool down..for shipping reasons. hGH and apple stem cells...Mmmmmm

If anyone has any info on prolactin topically being good or bad for hair(that's not in the product I'm referring to)..... :-s

That particular link is regarding the skin product/benefits..but they talk about the hair follicle and hgh..how it absorbs..etc. And they do "market" it for hair as well...although I've yet to see a finished product that contains it.

I was trying to increase HGH naturally, or at least boost my body's own production of it via several supplements. I think I had success in this because I was doing it primarily to shed fat and gain muscle (with a workout routine). I still take some supplements for this reason, and I think this has had a positive impact on my hair (just based on the fact that I haven't really lost much hair in years now and I use a lot less "stuff" than I used to for treating my hair loss).

Bioactive hGH stabilized in nano-sized liposomes

"Nanolipo-hGH from Regeron, a Korean company that focuses on reverse-aging biotechnology, is billed as the world s first cosmetic human growth hormone. This raw material is a bioactive hGH stabilized in nano-sized liposomes for ready use in cosmetic formulations. The liposomes facilitate skin permeation of hGh and enhance effects of keratolytic treatments due to hGH. The company also markets nanolipo-hGH Retinol Plus for enhanced anti-wrinkle treatment with minimal irritation" http://www.happi.com/articles/2005/06/s ... dients.php

"In the cosmetics as well as the pharmaceutics fields, delivery through the intact skin of molecules with a molecular weight larger than 2 kd, even with the help of skin penetration enhancers, has been considered a remote possibility. Human growth hormone(hGH) has a molecular weight of ~22kd, more than 10 times the conceivable limit of cosmetic ingredients. There have been some attempts to utilize transfollicular routes as means of localzed delivery of drugs and carriers, but rarely, if any, have these efforts resulted in practical applications or efficacy outcomes. Here we provide various in vitro and in vivo experimental results that our Nanolipo-hGH, a nanoliposome-encapsulated hGH formulation, is delivered through the hair follicular routes and exhibits cosmetic efficacies such as acne prevention, wrinkle reduction, and freckles removal when applied to the intact human skin. Our resuls point to the conclusion that Nanolipo-hGH is a new frontier, safe, stable, and effective cosmetic ingredient."

It'll be awhile before something else is set up to make it easier to get this stuff..but at the moment it is available directly from them: "Consumer price(excluding shipping & handling): 1)Hair shampoo USD 40/piece; 2)Hair tonic USD 80/piece. At the moment, we don't have any established method of payment other than a wire transfer."

Contact dahlkyun at regeron dot com

I did get both products, so it is legit as far as that goes. I've only used the shampoo once...plan to use the topical on the stubborn areas eventually.

And again..as always..I am not making any claims for the product(they aren't really either)...etc etc etc.

I'll be loading up some PDF's on the stuff a bit later. As well as ingreds lists for the shampoo and topical. This is another company that has been very responsive to my inquiries..so at least there's that.

The files can be seen here: http://my.hairlossfight.com/pg/file/jacob

Here's part of the article..regarding NL-hGH and hair:
All these diverse efficacies of NL-hGH
seem to indicate that somehow the skin
stem cells of the bulge or transiently amplifying
progenitor cells derived from
the bulge stem cells in the hair follicle
(Fig. 11), are influenced by the presence
of exogenous hGH and involved in the
pharmaceutical and cosmetic outcomes
of the topical NL-hGH application. Based
on this rationale, we further examined
whether hair (follicle) number or the hair
growth cycle of the mouse is affected by
the application of NL-hGH, using minoxidil
as a positive control. Mice were treated
for 2 weeks with NL-hGH after depilation
and before peritoneal BrdU injection
and subsequently sacrificed 3 hrs
after the injection. The results clearly
showed that NL-hGH application on the
back of the mouse increased not only the
hair number but potentially the hair
length and thickness. As, in a given hair
bulb, a more number of actively proliferating hair matrix cells is correlated
with longer duration of anagen phase,
thus with longer and thicker hair (17).
Minoxidil influenced on the hair number
as well, but not the hair length or thickness.
These results are summarized in
Fig. 12. Therefore NL-hGH was superior
to minoxidil in increasing both the hair
number and possibly the hair length and
thickness in the mouse experiments.

hopeful19...it's 100 ml. I'll ask how long it should last but obviously it depends upon your hair length..how much you use etc.

MG63..not yet.

bocor...I just tried it myself and you're right. Will see if they have another to use for ordering. My guess is it's just full at the moment. BTW..shipping starts out at $30. Another reason why a distributor around here would be nice. The price and ingredients for the products are mentioned above.

It sounds like they are working on making it w/out alcohol..in case anyone is wondering.

I little bump 'n update: On their website it says "Under semi-clinical testing (Japan)" for Pristeen as well as for Pristeen-M..whatever that is. There's also a Pristeen P..both it and the M are "For professional shops including Clinics". Minoxidil? Procyanidins? Prolactin? I've asked..will post if they can tell me.

On the other 2 Pristeen topicals mentioned above:
Pristeen-P has a fortified hGH concentration and additional active ingredients.

Pristeen-M is meant to be used with a meso-therapy treatment, thus uses ingredients with a pharmaceutical grade quality.
Also:
Non-official clinical test results from Japan turned out to be good, though the number of test subjects were small.

Ours were compared with some other cosmeceutical hair products on the market as well as pharmaceuricals.

Our pristeen tonic surpassed all other cosmeceuticals and pharmaceuticals compared in stimulating new hair growth and thickening.

It even seemed to show the effect of changing hair color from gray to dark and from dull to shiny.

But one pharmaceutical (finasteride) was better than ours in anti- androgenic hairloss. We plan to make a new Pristeen-line that should be able to cover this weakness soon.
He also sent me a couple of links on that stem cell news that's been floating around these forums(such as http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/20 ... 133905.htm ) and said "One more exciting scientific report came out recently. We believe hGH is definitely one such stimulator"

From what I could see you get 1.35 more hairs per 0.01 mm² than Minoxidil.
Does this means 135 more hairs per 1 mm²? This seems like an impossible value for such a small area. Even 13.5 hairs in 1 mm² seems crowded.

Sometimes numbers are given regarding a product and I have no clue what they mean in the real world. As always, a picture is worth a thousand words. But we also know how inaccurate they tend to be.

I've just been reading some facts about hair on a clinic's website and there were some interesting numbers I could gather. Please feel free to correct me or add more info.
- the average density is about 100 to 140 hairs per cm^2
- you only notice that you're starting to lose hair, when you already lost about 50%
- the above 2 facts means you can have a natural looking hair head with only 60 hairs per cm^2
- an average person has about 90,000-140,000 hairs
- (slight offtopic here on this one) the donor area has about 5,000-15,000 hairs

Back to the numbers from this product... I'm getting an headache too
Those numbers don't make much sense.
9-11 hairs in an area so small as 0.01mm² !? Doesn't make much sense to me.

Thanks for sending the email Jacob. I'm curious what they have to say.

His response:
Yes, Nanolipo-hGH gets on average 1.35 more hairs per 0.01 mm² than Minoxidil.

I attach original micrographs with a scale bar for your review. It’s a collection of scanning electron micrographs with x200 magnification and 150 micrometer scale bar(dotted line).
It's the same one I have uploaded here- the "Nanolipo-hGH for hair care" one:

I still do not understand :-s and I've spent wayyyy too much time on this.
Jacob, could you please reply him with the following:
I'm sorry but I'm still having a hard time interpreting those results.
I'll just use the last table as the reference, which says the effect of Nanolipo-hGH results in 11.17 hairs per 0.01 mm².
A 0.01 mm² squared area means 0.1 mm side, which is the same as 0.01 cm side and 0.0001 cm² area. So for a side 100x bigger, 1 cm, I have an area 10000x bigger. So that would mean 111700 hairs in just 1 cm²... which is just impossible.

Would it be possible to see a table similar to the last one but for an area of 1 mm² and 1 cm².
They clearly got their numbers wrong on this.
The bigger problem is, they (like any other company) can just say it was an innocent mistake and cook up other numbers, which may be completely false... and we never know the truth.
*sigh*

EDIT:

FWIW, I think it would be a good idea to look at (or inquire the companies regarding) the hair count numbers for a 1 cm² area. Despite of all the problems with using numbers, it would still give us more information.

On the previous post I said I found that the average human has 100-140 hairs per cm². I would really like to find a reliable source for this number. Googling a bit more I just found:
- In the Caucasian, human hair density averages 2.2-2.3 hairs/mm². In Asians, the density averages approximately 1.6 hairs/mm² and in Africans, is averages approximately 1.3 hairs/mm². (this means 220-230 hairs per cm²... +100 more hairs than the value I previously found)
- The average density of hair on an adult who does not have baldness is 200-300 hair fibers per square centimeter (cm2). The crown is the region that is most densely packed with hair follicles. In adults the sides and back of the scalp may have a hair density as low as 150/cm2. For the crown of the scalp pre-puberty, the density is 250-400 hairs/cm2. source
- The average human head of hair has a density of between 175-300 hairs per square centimeter.

200 hairs in 1 tiny cm² still seems very very crowded, but I guess that's the way it is. Just look at one of keys of your keyboard... now imagine 200 hairs there. Now close your eyes and imagine your head with 300 hairs per cm² all the way \:D/
Well... back to reality :(

Well it looks like those particular #'s have to do with MICE.

The article and pictures were sent to me..but I think just knowing it's mice kind of clears things up..at least for me.
In the article, the authors mention about hair densities in the mammals: 1)small and densely-haired mammals(mouse, rat, guinea pig, rabbit), 3000-25000 hairs/㎠ ; 2)medium-sized and densely-haired(cat, dog, sheep, goat), 2000-15000 hairs/㎠ ; 3)large and sparsely-haired(pig, cow, horse), 250-1300 hairs/㎠ . At this point, I’m afraid and doubt anyone had taken so much pains to count hair number in the mouse as we did. That experiment took us more than 4 months all together. Therefore I can’t but submit once again other pictures of ours that show hairs as well as the original scale-dimension indicated by SEM, so that anyone can count hairs in the pictures and have an idea how many hairs this strain(C57BL/6) of mouse can have. We also send some additional pictures to advise whoever may have incorrect preconception about the mouse hair density. A SEM image of 1 mm² either won’t mean anything due to the resulting low resolution or can’t be accommodated in a original SEM picture due to its out-of limit frame-size.
They did or are currently doing the testing etc in Japan..on humans...as mentioned in a previous post.

Besides VVPNP - are there any other scalp products which help boost Growth hormone?
