Dr. AQ ,
Do you recommend a second treatment if a person does not have results after 9 weeks?

I had the puffy eyes, face and rough skin also when I was using finasteride, the facial hair is from sleeping with rogain on your face and it rubs on the pillow.mm12 wrote:intricate1
rogaine works the best for me. but I have to use it more than the recommended dose but some how I have rough skin, puffy eyes and face, more facial and body hair. so that is why I reduced it to once a day. I used to use it 3-4 times a day. remox was so expensive to use. first I thought that remox works better than rogaine but later I found out that using minox more than once a day makes you have more hairs. that is why I switched back to rogaine which is way cheaper than remox.
Doc we are proud to have u here:)

New pics up at the AG site, for 200 bucks I would have expected better results.

That guys hairloss looks exactly like mine in the crown region. Doesnt look like much improvement though.
No visible hairloss would be worth it though

Crown seems a little thicker, but not sure. Not totally convinced. What does 'hardening' mean?

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
Kudos to Dr AQ for getting some more pictures up!
You were right, we aren't going to be very impressed with them and I think it was good that you acknowledged that beforehand. Without going into much detail, I'm sure you agree they leave a lot to be wished for. It is really hard to tell if there is any difference. It is easy to see it's the same subject due to the hair pattern, which is a plus, but that's about it. If you were a potential buyer, not knowing what you know, would you honestly say you could see a clear improvement in those photos? If so, how?
The most striking thing is actually the text under the images which claims that the subject went from a Norwood 2/3 to a Norwood 1 in 15 weeks. That means that the subject must have regrown hair in several square centimeters in the previously bald temple regions. Isn't it frustrating that the area where this medical mircale occured is just outside the area of the photos? That is obviously the area where it would be very easy to tell that there was a huge improvement in the Norwood scale (going from NW2/3 to NW1). If you had managed to get that area in the photos, the results would be undeniable under the alleged circumstances.
Nonetheless, thanks for going through the effort of getting them up! It's better to show them even if you don't think they represent the true potential of the product than backing out of the promise. You have a mission now: give us pictures that show the true potential of the AGHC
Looking forward to more photos! And better photos!

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
Hello everyone..
Finally the pics are up and yes, they are not a good representation of the HC potential but these pictures represent common patterns seen in many users: 1- improved scalp ( notice the pale like color between the hair) 2- improved hair color (darker) 3- thicker hair. Granted they could have taken pictures of the entire head but they focused on the crown.
P__ : I will have new pics, better ones but not anytime soon. I will get the 'yeah baby' sooner or later
goten: thanks for the translation !
Many have asked if its a good idea doing a second round of HC and my answer is wait at least till week 12 before considering another around. That's because you want to see how much improvement you got and then build on it after the follicles are on heir normal cycle. If there was no improvements at all, then you might want to consider combining it with laser. Shedding is part of regrowing hair, you can't regrow hair without shedding.
I will come back later to answer other Qs,
A

first I thought that we will see results around week 8 but now I guess we will see results (if any) between week 12 and week 15. I don't mind waiting 3-5 more weeks since I am in week 9 since my first application. makes me happy to see dr aq so confident about ag.

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
Dr AQ doesn't seem concerned about the many negative comments on this board, about Hair Complex not working very well (if at all) and results that once showed promise now deteorating. I really don't think this is a scam, Dr AQ even said NOT to buy another batch of Hair Complex until at least 12 weeks.. a scammer doesn't do that. I just think he is misguided and believes falsely in his product (I REALLY hope I am wrong). Sorry Dr if I've angered you, just speaking my mind.

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
doc, any updates on availability of the ppg free version?
Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
Good morning..
Kamisama : I am meeting with the manufacturer today for updates on the PG free hair complex. Will announce it here once I have a date.
1... : the pictures are not available now. We started a new study to obtain better pictures and study other parameters
goten : I understand your point and I will never be angry with you. I am not concerned not because I don't care but because I've seen the results and heard the opinions of users and professionals, I am quite pleased. This forum does not represent the entire pool of users. In addition, I noticed that positive results are ignored and 'negative' results are amplified followed by accusations and finger pointing. The word 'Scam' is still used 3 months prior to launch despite my presence here.
mm12: I am very confident otherwise the HC won't be sold on our website. I am still getting comments on my hair. Lets not future prevention of hair loss, which in my case is very important. I am still on my first treatment and its been hard resisting the temptations.
Off to work..

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
Dr. AQ, can you please explain what's going on with people having results in the first place (regrowth of many (pigmented) little hairs), but then losing those results after a few weeks?
Will those new hairs come back again and did they pop in the normal growth phase? I know shedding is normal when starting a treatment against hairloss, but I don't know about regrowth and then shedding of the regrowth.

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
Hey Whoop, Good Q. When applying the HC your follicle get stimulated a little more than it would usually does in a normal environment. This cause the follicle to start producing hair while repairing. Now during production the follicle might not be fully repaired thus can't hold on the new hair. Once the follicle is repaired it will go back and produce a stronger and long lasting hair.Whoop wrote:Dr. AQ, can you please explain what's going on with people having results in the first place (regrowth of many (pigmented) little hairs), but then losing those results after a few weeks?

As far as I know, no. People are thinking about it but the doctor said it's best to wait 12 weeks or more before even considering a 2nd application.intricate1 wrote:is any one on their second treatment?

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
if I get somehow results I would do a second treatment. but I will wait 3-6 weeks more to see if I get any regrowth. I am completing right now my ninth week. I spoke to aq yesterday and he promised that I will be pleased with the results and I should wait it has been only 9 weeks. he said I should wait at least until week 12-15 for the results.

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
IMO the hair complex worked well for me, and I do expect the results to get even better.
At this point for me, it is just about finding the right product for continuous treatment. I think the hair complex is a very good product, but it is mighty expensive, and I would like to use growth factors much more frequently than the cost of this product allows me. I would also love to switch to Elsom stuff instead of super zix, but alas, the same problem arises.
In a world where cost doesn't matter my ideal regimen would be the following...
Nano-Encapsulated growth factor 1-2x weekly
Full Elsom regimen
0.75mg Finasteride daily
My Laser Helm
Healthy Lifestyle + a few supplements
There is no damn way someone is going bald on that regimen.

About your ideal regimen, why isn't RU 58841? I do not know much about it, but I heard it's suppose to be the best treatment out there. Maybe I got it wrong?perga wrote:IMO the hair complex worked well for me, and I do expect the results to get even better.

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
I've heard of it as well, isn't it some kind of topical anti-androgen? Or blocks both DHT routes or something? I don't remember, but from what I understand it is not available, and if it were, I don't know if I would get it. In my experience, the "best of the best super powerful" treatments = side effects.goten574 wrote:About your ideal regimen, why isn't RU 58841? I got moderate sides from 1mg of propecia (they faded eventually, but were bad in the beginning); I can't imagine what would happen on Dutasteride. I also tried the biggest baddest Minox I could find: Spectral DNC; that lasted 2 1/4 treatments before I woke up with my heart beating out of my chest.
So in my personal experience, hitting MPB softly from many angles is the most effective method of tackling it. Going for the knockout blow gives you a heart attack and/or a limp dick. I'm sure this is different for everybody, but that is just how it worked for me.

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
RU is a topical anti-androgen that can block the androgen receptor with roughly twice the affinity as testosterone and DHT. It's powerful... and said to have little side effects because of it breaks down quickly in the blood into non androgenic compounds. It does however lack testing on humans and the only "official" study that I know of that took place has been on stump tailed macaques. The reason for this is french pharmaceutical company holds the patent to it and isn't doing anything with it. There are ways to get it though.. and people do use it but it takes some risk and patience to deal with stability issues.. unless you live in Japan where for some reason it's readily available.
I actually think topical androgen competitors are extremely useful for maintenance.. a lot of people say they don't work because they don't grow much but that's not their function.. it's just a shame all the good ones get shelved.

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
Week 5 after last application
Week 8 since first application
Other treatments: NO. I stopped Spectral DNC before starting A&G HC.
GROW everywhere, that's all I can say. Furthermore if things continue like this I will officially be a NW0.
Hair in general look thicker, and is growin longer and faster.
New hair look like normal hair, healthy, and not like the minox ones that had a different colour and were like pubic hair
Still shedding short and thin hairs with almost no colour.
Even if I am feeling quite happy I am not gonna give my 'yeah baby' o the doctor yet. I will do when I can style my hair again like a I did before the MPB started 5 years ago.

Thatdosnt sound like a whole lot. I am in my 7 th week since my last application and HC has done nothing for my crown and my hairline is nw1 (slightly improved) . i'm giving it more time but it looks like it will not improve my crown I will do second application at 15th week mark

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
I am not a critic case, I still have a lot of hair, so for me is enough if A&G stops my hairloss as it is now with all the hair I am growing. I will not have to worry anymore about the wind, the rain or the f****** focus lights in shops and restaurants.intricate1 wrote:So you went from a norwood 1 to maybe a norwood 0 ?aviador wrote:Week 5 after last application
Plus I never said I am already NW0 (no hairloss) but if things continue like this I will.
That's maybe not much for you, but it is for me. My self-esteem was not very good because my hairloss.

I answered that in the A&G results topic
Cheers,

has anyone started their second treatment ?
Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
Yes I started a second treatment, 2 months after completing 1st treatment. Currently on my 2nd application, seen no regrowth so far but have had a heavy shed. This could be because I have stopped using minox. As with all treatment I will give it at least 6 months before giving judgement.intricate1 wrote:has anyone started their second treatment ?

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
Thanx Irish, please keep me posted I am eager to know if you had better results from your second round. Asked the doc and he said the shed is expected. As for me I am at a standstill, the hair on the side is growing and the mpb areas don't seem to grow, this is my second hair cut on the side of my head after a&g. I lost about 5 hairs in the shower they were all dark long and thick hairs and that scares. So far after 7 weeks I can't give any positive feed back but I will stay positiveIrishpete wrote:Yes I started a second treatment, 2 months after completing 1st treatment. I really don't know why people are buying a 2nd batch of Hair Complex, when it was stated that one batch should be enough (expect in a small amount of cases).

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
I purchased a 2nd treatment because 27% of the trialists required a 2nd dose ( I like to cover all bases ) also I was afraid of the FDA pulling this of the market.goten574 wrote:I really don't know why people are buying a 2nd batch of Hair Complex, when it was stated that one batch should be enough (expect in a small amount of cases).

Apply only to mpb areas cause those are your only unhealthy hairs, on what basis would FDA pull this off?

Re: A&G Hair Complex from A&G Skin Solutions
You aren't allowed to sell anything in the U.S. that says it regrows hair, unless it has been scientifically proven through FDA trials. In fact, on the AG site for the hair serum, the very first sentence says "...A & G Hair Complex works to regrow hair...". Pretty sure you can't say that without FDA approval. You can say things like "Makes hair look thicker and healthier". But I don't think you can say it regrows hair. Otherwise they can pull the product. I would change the wording if I were the owner of this company.intricate1 wrote:...on what basis would FDA pull this off?
