Re: DermaHeal Stem C’rum Anti-Hair Loss
I received mine, and it's going to be a bit tricky to do it the way I was hoping to do it. Which was to mix half the powder with half the liquid..so one COULD use it once a week for an extended period of time. There must be a reason why they gave the directions like they did though BTW..I think I saw on the box that it could even be used daily.SW2 wrote:hey guys, just so i'm clear... since i'll hopefully be starting my dermaheal Stem C'rum trial next weekend (as long as i get my vibrating roller and C'rum!)
it says on the website: http://dermahealproducts.com/index.php/ ... um-hl.html
Directions: Apply one vial over the hair and scalp and massage it thoroughly. Let it be on the scalp for at least 4 hours. Then wash it with Dermaheal Shampoo. Use this product once a week for the first month and then every other week for the second month. For maintenance, use it once a month.
is this what everyone will be doing? so if i ordered 2 packages.. total of 10 vials...
vials 1-4: 1st month
vials 5,6: 2nd month
vials 7-10: 3rd-6 month?
this contradicts the photo's where 1 vial was used/week... so 10 vials would last 2.5 months, not 6.
also regarding application. Just to confirm... do you roll/stamp/microneedle (one of) before or after applying the C'rum? It makes sense to me, to create the holes first then apply... yes?
i'll email dermaheal about the application periods...
cheers,
SW
I really haven't decided how I'm going to go about it yet. I've gotten my hair cut much shorter than usual to make for easier application and dermarolling. I was surprised to see(I don't look all the time) my crown area..where the "swirl pattern" is..filled in very nicely. But right in front of that it doesn't look too good..then towards the front it's better again, but not as thick as the crown. I've been concentrating on the crown and frontal area..but do try to spread some over all the other areas. So maybe I wasn't hitting that bad spot enough.
I've read both ways..on applying the topicals with the dermaroller. I think I've read most say to do the dermaroller after applying the topical first. Apply the topical- rub it in as much as possible..then apply another layer w/out rubbing it in and dermaroller right away. I guess if you dermaroll first the holes close up quite quick after doing so. I may have it wrong though..I got my dermaroller..so will see what they say in the instructions. It came with some facial products..so I'm sure they touch on this somewhere.

Oh yeah..I'm leaving mine on overnight. Maybe even apply it earlier in the evening so it really soaks in..before hitting the pillow.

Re: DermaHeal Stem C’rum Anti-Hair Loss
ok....I used my first aspplication last night and I see NO new hair growth.
A couple of observations:
1. I suggest you have an eye dropper handy as the mouth of the vial is a bit larger than expected. I used the syringe from the crescina I had left.
2. I used my derma roller BEFORE
3. Becareful when mixing the stuff....it's too expensive to waste any!
Then cross your fingers!
Here is my question!!!!!
What should I use during the week???? Is regular dermaheal too similar??? any suggestions?????

mitcky ..it may be good to use the regular Dermaheal..it's up to you though. This Stem C'rum says it can be used daily(I did read that right...didn't I?) so I'm sure the Dermaheal could be used after this as well. I may use the Lamas and Pristeen here and there.
Are you sure it isn't 0.2 mm ?? That's what that one hair loss product comes with..it's in this thread somewhere. If it's a good quality one it can be used many times. Make sure to kill all the bugs off it before and after use though.intricate1 wrote:I will soon try this product. Also, any ideas where they are getting these growth factors? From which part of the body and from who?

Technically one or two freeze thaw would be ok. However, manufacturer has not done that study so I can not tell. What they have done, is studying the stability in liquid form in the frig and they recommend 5 days.

Hi Jacob,
Are you still using DermaP ?
Just Day 1-4 ? or Day 1-4 + Day 5-14 ?
By the way, DermaP, Lamas and Pristeen are great !
Thx

Yep..still using the Derma-P..even the 5-14 day one here and there. I can't wait to see what the improved version will be like.
I was going to drop the Lamas and Pristeen while using this stem c'rum..but will now most likely use each at least a couple of times a week.

I wish it had less or even no alcohol..but I'm tolerating it. I would also prefer it be more like a lotion..I'm so used to the Elsom topicals I guess.
I'll try to get an update from the company on if they plan on doing away with the alcohol..and/or are going to add some other things to it.

Sorry, I'm not that smart
But does this mean their growth factors are synthetic?

Re: DermaHeal Stem C’rum Anti-Hair Loss
chore boy..yep..applied it once so far. Well actually I applied it twice, with the dermarolling inbetween applications. I'm still reading most saying to apply a topical first..even the instructions with the dermaroller say that(it came with some other skin-care samples)..but I guess it can depend upon what is being applied.
Even applying a good amount twice..there's still enough for another day.
kamui2..actually I might have gotten a response on the wrong product or something. Because they're not synthetic..at least not the adipose-derived ones. Some of the peptides they use are "mimicking peptides"..so I'm guessing they're synthetic. I'll see if I can get a clarification on that.

Re: DermaHeal Stem C’rum Anti-Hair Loss
I just did my first treatment.
Only complaint so far is that it goes on like water.. LOL
I would prefer if the solution was a bit thicker.
Oh, and no shedding at all while massaging this stuff on, unlike A&G complex where I shed a crap load while massaging it in.
SO far so good.

Yeah..have a washcloth handy
I'm going to ask Dr Lee if it's possible to get extra tops/applicators with the dab-o-matics. I guess one could rinse it out with alcohol after each use though...

Re: DermaHeal Stem C’rum Anti-Hair Loss
recombinant proteins just means that they put the gene for the proteine ( in this case a growth factor) into a vector (a plasmid) that gets into a bacterium (most likely e. coli) which produces that protein for you. it can then be isolated and used for our heads. it can be somehow modified which means the important areas of the protein are there and the unimportant are cut out before. since e. coli is a prokaryot and we are eukaryot they cannot use the exact same gen because it could not be translated intp a protein by the bacterium, they use the cDNA instead which makes no difference at all. I say, don't worry
good luck to all of you
it would be nice to get some regrowth and then keep by using less expensive products

kamui2...I would think it'd be ok as long as it's thawed out in the 'fridge.
Way too early to say if it's doing anything. And I am using it on some "bald" spots..so we'll see.

I would think if you timed it right you probably could do it that way. I personally wouldn't take it out of the freezer at night so it's ready in the morning though. It's such a small amount it'd probably thaw out w/in a couple-few hours.
But the company may say differently...

When I took it out of the freezer, it melted back to liquid in about 15 minutes. I used it right after that.
