I have a huge bottle of the apple stem cells just sitting around among other liposomal actives... thinking about wholesaling them.

Re: Lamas- Chinese Herbs Regenerating Scalp Serum- w/apple stem cells
Hi Kamui2.
Now that's a curious episode of synchronicity. Only a few hours ago I seriously pondered the current efficacy of using the Lamas serum (even though it's only been 3 1/2 months) due to the increased shedding which is making my overall hairloss look positively ghastly.
I know about the whole shedding aspect and 'continuing to use the products' approach to ride it out but within that time I was hoping for at least some indication of minor regeneration in some respect at least.
I currently have about 2 and a bit more bottles of the serum which I shall continue to faithfully use and then I intend to switch to the Elsom products: Nanoscalp, Juveline and Scalp Extreme to be precise. I feel that I may have some more success with these than the Lamas scalp serum which I'm waiting on another 2 more months before reaching a clear verdict.
At least the Lamas product smells nice and makes the scalp feel more 'awake' after application - I'm guessing the menthol helps to reinforce that feeling.
So, in short, still shedding and no apparent recovery as yet which is visually detectable...even vellus hairs don't seem to be any different. At least with the Elsoms you only have to apply once daily - looking forward to that I can tell you.
Sorry for a lack of stimulating news there. Still hanging onto this regimen for a bit longer until the changeover. Will keep others posted. Thanks for prompting me as well.
Justin.

I initially shed while on Lamas Serum also. But after about a month that stops and things seem to have stabilized. I have been using it for a total of about 4 months now and things seem a little thicker at this point. So, it seems that my initial shed has at least been recaptured. You may want to hang in there and keep using it a little longer and see if things turn around for you. I also use the Chinese herbs shampoo every couple of days.

Thanks Jocko59. I really hope so. I've got over 2 months worth left and when that finishes it'll come to 6 months experience in total. We'll see...

Re: Lamas- Chinese Herbs Regenerating Scalp Serum- w/apple stem cells
Hi Kamui2.
I have about 1 month and 1 week's supply left of my Lamas serum. I don't detect any real visible difference in my hair density etc since my last update and I'm frankly quite keen to be starting the Elsom products in about a month's time and saying goodbye to the serum.
I can't say I recommend the Lamas serum as it certainly doesn't seem to be working for me, other than causing an embarrassing shed which hasn't really been restored in any way, from what I can tell. This doesn't mean the product won't work for others, it just seems less effective for me...maybe because I'm a diffuse thinner? Possibly...I don't know.
I just want to to regain what I've lost in the shed and some more (if ever possible) to make me feel less like a wispy creature.
Wish there was better news. Maybe it will turn around in the next few weeks? lol That'd be amusing.

On paper I think its a good topical.
What seems to be missing on the topical market are topicals that help to Regenerate the damage caused by MPB.
Thanks
Pete

I think I saw you said that Elsoms topical Terminal 1&2 helped you among other things. Is that only for people with Vellus hairs or for anyone with hairloss.

I think it'd be for anyone. I even seemed to get some new growth out of it(again..I use(d) other things along with it).
Now would probably be a good time for me to go back on it..in-between the Stem C'rum applications...

Re: Lamas- Chinese Herbs Regenerating Scalp Serum- w/apple stem cells
BTW..back to this Lamas topical..I've been using it since it came out..and I think I'll switch to something else for awhile- that also contains the apple stem cells. Maybe a custom one by Elsom- might even be able to add them to an existing topical of theirs. I do have one bottle of the Lamas left, but will probably save it for this fall/winter when I'll again rotate things.

Re: Lamas- Chinese Herbs Regenerating Scalp Serum- w/apple stem cells
Are there any other products that contain apple stem cells? I know there are some topicals that have apple stem cells, but they're used for the face, not the scalp.

Nope..but they're on my "gotta try it" list. Unless other things come along and bump them out.

Got a response from Elsom...they can add the apple stem cell ingred to Terminal 1. So it's either that or a custom..what to do..what to do...

Jacob,
As your attorney I recommend the Terminal 1 topical w/ the apple stem cell.

Re: Lamas- Chinese Herbs Regenerating Scalp Serum- w/apple stem cells
I am leaning towards that..as I did have some luck with the Terminals. I guess I'd be nuts not to use it now when I'm trying to get these wispy's to grow up. The other thing I was thinking of using was Osmotic's FNS. If it were as clear and absorbing as Dermatopoietin...it'd be my daytime topical.
Some of the things from the Formulator I've been wanting to try are...(and looking at it I see the apple stem cells are now listed)...hyaluronic acid(for a winter one at least)...neroli oil...nano-royal jelly..well, I guess the others I'd add I've used before. Would need to look into the others..get some suggestions from all the experts around here and from Dr. Y...

Apple stem cell extract is $35 itself on elsom, so it seems going with the lamas topical (especially when on sale) would make more sense since it has other ingredients also. Unless elsom uses a different method or has a higher concentration?

I ended up having them added to Terminal 1..haven't tried it yet though. The concentration is higher..and they use no alcohol.

Have you began using that custom terminal 1 that you ordered yet?
On the topic of Lamas, has anyone tried the Revitalizing Nutrient Mist or the Revitalizing Styling Cream? I wouldn't mind having something in between to keep my hair neat and manageable whilst not using harsh chemicals.

On Lamas..I love the styling cream..I think it was the mist I tried too- wasn't too crazy about it.

I've been getting chest pain while using this product. Has anyone else had this problem while using this product?

Nope..you're not drinking it are you?
I would stop using it for awhile and see if you still get the chest pains or if it comes back when you start applying the topical again.

Been using this for about 8 or so months at 2x a day as well as the shampoo. May have stopped hairloss from getting worse but minimal if any regrowth. Definitely not worth the dough in my opinion.

wow 8 months! (no sarcasm intended here folks) that's a good trial run and it does seem to sound similar to what others have said in the past in terms of decreased shedding but in terms of actual hair growth it didn't do anything or much at all.
I've always been curious about lamas Chinese Herbs range so thanks for chiming in and letting us know about your experience with the product.

Well those would be great results for some. Were you using just the Lamas products?FightingBack26 wrote:Been using this for about 8 or so months at 2x a day as well as the shampoo. Yeah Jacob, just the Lamas products, and thinking back Im not so sure it did much at all as my barber said my hair hasnt changed, he said it definitely didnt get thicker so "maybe" it slowed the hairloss, I had better results with Promox from Dr. Klein. Maybe I should go back to that....

Wouldn't hurt to try it(Promox) again for awhile..see how it compares. Maybe slowly ease off on the Lamas and slowly add the Promox...? If you're only using the Promox once a day you could stick with the Lamas if you have any left..I suppose.

Promox is meant to be used 4x a day so if I want results it wuldnt make sense to use it less frequently than the recommended daily applications.
