I used to use Proscar but dont anymore as the side effects were really bad for me.

I guess I'm a little surprised you wouldn't use some topical- even something basic like Tricomin..to try to keep the other hair you still have.

How is your existing non-transplanted hair dping?

If you can't use Propecia, you should be on something to help slow the loss of your remaining hair, but I am sure you were aware of that.

Have you thought about using any topicals such as Spiro? Or even something like Tricomin that Jacob brought up?

Guys, remember that Minoxidil Shampoo that was offered by the Lipoxidil folks? Well I bought some a while back but didn't stick with it. Gave it to my Dad. Now he swears by it and wants me to buy the stuff for him in bulk...

Yeah, I remember that shampoo.. I almost tried it myself. I don't even know if they still carry the stuff, they took down some of the products that they used to sell because the FDA told them it was illegal or something.

It is interesting though that you dad likes the shampoo...did he say that he saw any results or anything?
