I need some help please...
What's up everyone, I am 19 years old and stressed to the max. I have had several legal problems, usual college kid, and i have high anxiety. I am experiencing hair loss i guess mainly the widow's peak style. In high school i had a full head of hair but since then i wore hats every day and stay stressed and noticed my hair strands tend to fall out quite often. I have no idea what any products to solve my problem are, I have no idea what the products I have heard about mean or do. I need help because it seems to just be eatin up my hairline on the edges but leaving hair down the middle. Should I avoid haircuts as well? Thank you hopefully I can solve this problem before it turns into the horseshoe pattern on my entire head.
I WOULD RECOMMEND SEEING A DERMATOLOGIST BEFORE YOU START ANY HAIR LOSS TREATMENT
There are two FDA approved products that most people try to halt their male pattern baldness. PROPECIA is a pill that you take once a day that helps stop the progression of male pattern baldness. I would recommend trying this out first for about a year. You can make an appointment with a dermatologist and see if he will give you a prescription for the propecia, or you can try to get it from an online pharmacy. Just to make sure to visit a derm to see if it is in fact male pattern baldness and not some other health problem.
There are other treatments such as Rogaine with helps stimulate the follicles and is a good adjunct treatment to Propecia. I would recommend using propecia for a year before you add anything else though.
I would also recommend using Nizoral shampoo a couple of days a week as there is some evidence that it helps with balding. You can get this in a 1% formulation at a drugstore.
This is pretty much the generic response. Others may respond with their suggestions. It is hard to recommend something to someone because EVERYONE is different and responds differently but take this info and make some choices for yourself to see what works for you.

I'm the non-FDA approved user...so naturally I'd say look into natural type products out there. I don't recommend anything..I hate doing so...just read the advice giving around here and then research research research.
Some suggestions for stress: Kava kava..phenibut..SAM-e..etc. There are combos of some of those as well. Exercise has been suggested and I agree with that- yes, for stress. Lift weights and bulk up(or at least get a six pack) and you'll feel better about yourself regardless of your hair situation.
I also think this is one of the best stress combo products out there. If you do a search on each ingredient..many other benefits to taking it as well: http://www.new-chapter.com/product/supe ... 88&-search
