aboynamedme's hair loss story.

Post by aboynamedme » Mon Sep 05, 2005 3:09 pm

i joined the forums looking for suggestions on present maintenance. i refuse to do minox or propecia.

mainly, i'm looking for a shampoo that does a good cleansing job right now. presently, i use alterna's life restore line because it thickens, but i'd be willing to try something else. among my top other choices would be tricomin (i hear copper peptides do something to prevent fibrosis) or arbonne's shampoo (just because it contains nanosphere technology).

i'm a pretty big science article buff even if the patients are always rats. i am really enjoying the writings on the new nanotechnology revolution because it hopes to "deliver" a lot of promise. i believe that the only problem in treating and curing hair loss is an effective means of cutting through the skin to get to the cells. among my hopes for the future, there is really only TB4. lee's pharm says they're coming out with it mid '06 and that at present, they're looking for a more ideal delievery vehicle.

any kind of help you can give as far as suggesting a decent shampoo is appreciated. i would say that i have the appearance of a full head of hair, although it began thinning over two years ago. i'm just hoping right now that a treatment can come along and make things thick again.

thanks for reading and i look forward to hearing from all of you.

Aboynamedme..welcome to the forum!

http://www.elsomresearch.com also has a "nano" type shampoo. They've added rooibos to the latest batch.

Others I use are Morrocco Method...Lamas..& Sweet Sunnah.

I also refuse to do minox and propecia

I like Revivogen shampoo a lot as well. Crinagen is another good one.

I know you're asking for shampoo recommendations, but I have found that a concealer doesn't hurt to use every once in a while as well. I use dermmatch and have found it to be very effective in dramatically increasing the appearance of the thickness and coverage of my hair.
