Susan's Story

My story is not unique but it is what it is. About 8 years ago I started losing my hair particularly at my hairline on my forehead. Long story short, I went to a dermatologist and was diagnosed with low thyroid. With the proper thyroid medication my hair started to grow back --- somewhat. Lately I've noticed I can see my scalp if a light/sun shines on my forehead. I've checked into cortisone shots in my scalp - I'm not a candidate. Also suggested Rogaine for Women -- I've heard too messy. The last option is to take "supplements: Vitamin D, Biotin and Calcium. So I'm here to read up on and see what other's are doing to fight this problem.
