From Bald To Bold's Story

Post by FromBaldToBold » Wed Mar 24, 2010 10:34 am

Ok, I want to share my story before I get judged here.

I have been loosing hair since I was 23 or so and I have been searching for a solution for my hair loss for 10 years. I went to a number of different places for consultations (including Bosley) but ultimately decided to go with Hair Club Medical Group. Ok, here is the fishy part. I went in for a consultation with Hair Club and made videos on it. I then contacted Hair Club and asked them if I could post my progress with a hair transplant. Make videos and share it with the world. They agreed and that's what I have been doing. They even have my blog on their website (I'm a web designer). Although its not that visible Ill take it (lol) I paid 100% for my hair transplant and am not here to sell for them. I am simply posting my journey and asking for support. All the sites, I manage so feel free to write me.

I was somewhat of a norwood 6 but I have minimal frontal loss. Most of my loss was in my crown. I got 3500 grafts using the FUT. My doctor was Dr. Gaffney. I am 10 almost 11 months into having a hair transplant and I am pretty happy with it so far. I don't think the coverage was exactly how I wanted it but It does look like I am just now starting to lose hair which is good for a 43 year old.

Here is a photo of my before and week 43 photo. Please tell me what you think.

Thanks guys!

If you have the money..and go to the right place(I wouldn't know where)..and it's something you wouldn't mind doing..I'd say go for it.

Sam..the owner of HLF here..seems to have gone to a great place to have his done. His posts on it are somewhere around here.

Thanks. I recently went to a consultation for a second procedure. I taped it on my youtube page http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gg_oqoIC2BU

But to be honest I am still thinking if I should do it or not. Think I will give it some more thought and wait a while.

I thought you were the doc at first..your hair looks fine from the front 8)

Are you going to tape the procedure if you have it done?

I already taped the first procedure into 6 segments. Do you think I should tape the second? It would pretty much be like the first procedure. So if I did tape it.. I might just do a before and after surgery taping. ...This is if I decide to get a second one of course :)

Well, these bald story is really believable, because even my uncles had the same problem. After some Ayuervedic treatment till about one and half year, his head becomes very hairy and it was greatly unbelievable to accept that i lost this hair ever. So i really response this story. Also i suggest everyone to have regular or atleast alternate day massage.
