I really, really felt for this woman. I hope that she can overcome her hair loss as it is harder for women.

I really think that alopecia areata is even more difficult for women to deal with. Pattern baldness is no picnic, but the sudden and unpredictable loss of alopecia areata (or totalis) is very scary.
