I like healthy origins too. I'm currently taking their coq10 supp. My fav supp company has to be pure encapsulations though. someone recommended it at IH and i gave it a try. Good stuff with very very minimal fillers (if any at all).

I used to hate LEF because of the fillers they used. They've gotten better..and have some very nice formulas available.

Andrew Lessman's are great if you want no fillers etc: http://www.procapslabs.com
ProCaps Vitamins are 100% pure and additive-free
It's shocking, but most of the world's vitamins -- and particularly the world's most popular vitamins -- contain chemical additives, including artificial colors, fillers, preservatives and processing aids. No matter how pure and natural you might think these products are, they likely contain these additional ingredients to make the manufacturing process easier or to make the vitamin more attractive to the customer. These additions however do nothing to benefit you. In fact, most health-oriented people consider additives a potential health hazard. ProCaps Laboratories is the world's only major manufacturer producing a complete line of 100% additive-free vitamin formulas with no colors, binders, fillers, lubricants, stabilizers, flowing agents or preservatives. The only thing you will find in our vitamin capsules are the beneficial nutrients you seek.
Many of his products are actually a good deal if you get the mega-containers.

This is the brand of Vit D I take and it really helped raise my D levels. The first time I had D3 blood test, it was at 17. 8`

(That's what daily use of SPF 45 will do for you)

Used my endo's recommended D supplement for 6 months - very expensive drops - and only raised the level to 22. Switched to Healthy Origins (2,400 IU) and 6 months later was at 42. Not great, but at least above the bare-minimum threshold of 30. Getting tested again in a few weeks ... hopefully will be up between 50-60.

Long-term high dose vitamin D well tolerated

A research letter published in the October 26, 2009 issue of the American Medical Association Journal Archives of Internal Medicine revealed that treatment with 50,000 international units (IU) of vitamin D per week was safe and effective over an 8 week period, and could also be safe to use every other week as maintenance.

In their introduction to the article, the authors, from Boston University School of Medicine, note that "The worldwide prevalence of vitamin D deficiency is striking, and more than 40 percent of the population may be vitamin D deficient. Despite this, to our knowledge, there are no long-term studies of the safety and efficacy of giving pharmacologic doses of vitamin D (50,000 IU of ergocalciferol) to treat and prevent vitamin D deficiency."
Notice that's with D2
