Hair/Skin/Nails Supplement
Hello everyone.
I've just watched a TV commercial in a lifestyle channel this morning.
About a Hair, Skin and Nails Factor Supplement.
Has anyone tried to take this kind of supplement before?
Is it effective?
Planning to have this for my 2 sisters (19 yrs.old and 23 yrs.old) if it's effective.
Thanks!!

I haven't used them but I can recommend gelatin for your nails. It is one effective food for strong and healthy looking nails.

If I ain't mistaken most supplements have no approved therapeutic claims.

You really are what you eat. If you're eating all the healthy foods from Mother Nature - not made by man or woman or supplements from GNC, your hair, nails, teeth, and the rest of your body will benefit too. You get all your vitamins & minerals from your diet.

Re: Hair/Skin/Nails Supplement
I was taking a vitamin supplement to encourage hair growth... It did slightly improve the thickness of my hair but I was taking the pills for four months before I noticed a slight change, and I took the supplement for a year. As they were expensive I decided to come off of them, but I would say different things work for different people.

Yes, olive oil is very good for the health of the hair - but too much will make the skin and hair too greasy and cause breakouts.

You should consider taking biotin. This supplement has been linked to cosmetic benefits such as reducing hair loss and repairing brittle nails.sarahgee wrote:Hello everyone.

You can take supplements, but you should always be sure of their quality. It is always better to consult with the specialist.

Re: Hair/Skin/Nails Supplement
Instead of taking any advertising base supplement it is better that you should go for natural supplement available as keratin, vitamin A,D,C and calcium for all above issues.
