Looking to buy used Laser Messiah OMG Helmet

Post by LaserHairMan » Thu May 15, 2014 3:44 pm

I saw a few people have sold their Laser Messiah helmet through this forum, so I thought I'd reach out and see if any owners are willing to sell their used or unused helmet. Please message me directly if you are, thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I actually just purchased a used one last week so I think I'll be set once I receive it. I'm sure there are others who would love to buy one for less than new cost though, so good to post it to the forum anyway, as well as list it on ebay. Good luck!

Treatment Regimen: 5% minoxidil 2 times daily plus 20 minutes LLLT full head device with 378 made by myself as I am an electronic engineer.

why would anyone sell a LLLT device - if it was indeed working?
Messiah helmet looks nice but is just a bunch of laser pointers inserted or glued into a plastic cap.
And being an electronic engineer I'd say it will get quite hot "inside"....

And the guy who sells the idea obviously does not have hair loss...did any one see his "before" picture?

There are several reasons why someone would sell it:

1. The need the money.
2. They no longer use it or never used it (too busy, lack of discipline/motivation, got tired of using it)
3. They are traveling and can't take it with them
4. They have upgraded to a $3000 helmet such as the Lasercap or the cheaper Laserdome which has less diodes

Yes most of these helmets are just a "bunch of specific red 637nm Laser Diodes wired together in a helmet" (not glued and focusing optics removed!) and yes it does "warm" the hair/scalp a little but after 20 minutes but it is not uncomfortable at all. It should not require more than this to stimulate our hair growth! What else do you expect?

There was one on ebay yesterday that sold for $400 plus shipping in less than 24 hours, I almost bought it to resell it locally for much more, but missed out. I already bought a used one from another ebay seller for much more. Too soon to notice results but I'm taking pictures every month.

I'm an electronics engineer, the guy who supplies the diodes is a Dr. and probably an engineer as well. If you made your own, why are you questioning the laser Messiah? If you can make and sell them for less, go for it!

I am selling a Laser Messiah helmet, which was custom made for me in October, 2013. It's a 418 diode helmet with a power supply. I paid $1445 for it and am offering it for $1150, with free shipping in the U.S. I used it on and off for approximately 5 months, but lack the motivation to be consistent with this form of treatment.
