Lasers - Joules, Bioinhibition and Overstimulation

Post by general zod » Tue Jun 08, 2010 9:54 am

Can anyone tell me (or direct me to info on) the amount of joules required to actually cause detriment?

I know it's 3-6 joules for BIOSTIMULATION. Spectra-medics.com seems to suggest it's 8 - 12 joules "and higher" for BIOINHIBITION, but the vagueness of the "and higher" bit doesn't make it clear how many joules are required to make it into the detrimental zone.

Cheers
