$1125?! Wow... I didn't realise these were so expensive.

Was going to give this a 'go' but for that price I think I'd prefer to just buy my own island.

You gotta weigh your priorities, hair, island, hair, island,...Ill go with hair! :D
Using expensive topicals shampoos and supplements will cost you close to that amount and not get you half the results. LLLT gives results!

I don't have the time because I have to schedule my showers around it and then clear 20 minutes post shower. I'm not bald enough (deperate enough) to sacrifice my schedule for my hair. Many others have lighter schedules or don't mind changing theirs because they have serious hair loss that they need to address. To be honest I bought this on a whim it was a bit of an impulse purchase. I looked in the mirror one day and said hey I'm losing my hair Imgonna get the best darn thing out there. Once I got over my initial hysteria I realized I really don't need it so its not worth my time.

sorry fightback26,

But to me that sounds like a really cheap excuse because EVERYONE before they buy the helmet they know what the time of treatment is before and after the laser.

So I dont think that you figured out AFTER you got the laser that you do not have time.

And also you wouldnt have payed all that money first hand to realize after you have it that you dont have time....

It just doesnt add up.

Hey don't judge me. Without going into details of my personal life I had more free time when I was researching the device and it was close to 2 months from when I paid for it and when I received it. Also I figured if I don't want it I could always resell it. I can show you pictures of it plugged in and a paypal receipt from OMG if necessary.

Well considering that essentially it's a brand new unit and you don't have to wait weeks and weeks for it from OMG or spending the time doing it yourself it is very much worth the $1125 I paid for it . I'm willing to take $1000 for it free shipping included.

$1125?! Wow... I didn't realise these were so expensive.
now hang on a second, yes thats alot of money for most of us, BUT

1. ur getting three times the power and coverage of up to a $40 000 clinical machine.

2. 300 quality aixiz diodes would cost u or me at least $2.60 each which = $780, + then u have to get a power supply, wiring, and all the materials for the helmet, then spend hour after hour putting it together. Even if u did it urself, ur still looking at $900 for the materials. $225 is not much of a profit by the time u take out labour, especially compared to $40 000.

3. its alot of money, but who here hasnt spent close to that on treatments that dont work in the last few yrs, i know i have! (my fault of course)

look, he gives u the instructions on how to make a cheap one with 70 diodes and just move it a few times for coverage, and that would cost u 2oo-300$ US, so dont act like hes being greedy, hes given away his secrets so people can DIY, what more do u want?

About $500-$700. It's a huge investment of time and money for something has only seen anecdotal results at best.
I may still try this in the future but I'm not prepared to throw $1125 at it right now.

Oh, and if anyone misinterpreted my post, I'm no way disrespecting OMG, merely showing off my ignorance for how much I would have to invest in this.

Anecdotal? lmao, dude laser therapy has been in clinics all around the world, and has been on most medical shows, including 'the doctors', noone ever said it was a cure, but as a treatment, results have been well and truly proven. Ur just going on wat youve seen on this forum, but if u do some work searching on the net, or ask in a clinic, youll see some proper evidence. not that it can magically fix a bald head, but it does stand up against minox and fin.

Really? Is it that funny? Your arse is coming off? Super.

I'll look more into when I have the money to consider it. Good times.

well maybe u should go look up the word anecdotal in a dictionary, to say a clay regrows hair is anecdotal, but for doctors to be prescribing laser treatment for hairloss, requires studies, and fda approval, both of which lasers have.

By the way I agree that lasers are FDA approved only that they are safe to use. Not that they work. Maybe not yet...who knows. Time will tell also with me as I am using one at the moment.

well, i dont know wat to say, other than i believe laser works in most people, to a certain extent. make of that wat u will, but the smartest people on these forums r all using an omg helmet, its possible its all an elaborate scam so that omg can sell these machines, but very unlikely. ( i know its not by the way, just making a point)

I'm in month 5 and so far my loss has stopped, and my hair is thicker: my scalp is much less visible than 6 month ago (for SURE!)
I have no regrowth at this time, but these results are already enough for me.
I don't have the pictures to prove it, and even if I had regrowth i'm sure I couldn't prove it with pictures, unless it was in my empty temples.
The reason is, I started to take pictures, and I wanted to do it every month to monitor progress, but soon I realized that depending on the angle i took the picture, depending on the light, and many parameters i couldn't reproduce exactly month over month, 2 pictures taken in a row could tell anything and the opposite.
