My first ever post on a hair loss discussion forum

Hi all,

I've never before been a member of a forum. I didn't even know they existed until fairly recently.

Here is my hair:

Do I look like a good candidate for laser therapy?

I'm going out to the Vitamin Shop for Bentonite clay and magnesium oil. Any advice on how to use the mag oil would be appreciated!

Here I am during my initiatory laser session

Based on the testimonials I'd say you are a good candidate for laser therapy. Although I hardly see any hairloss at all. Is your mostly around the crown? That's where the lasers are focussed in you picture. Are you moving the laser device around your scalp? Its purported that full coverage is better than "spot" treatment.

Thanks for the reply. I might not even rate on the Norwood scale, but I have diffuse thinning all over the top. Coverage is good, but my hair is so thin that bright light can shine through the hair and reflect off of my scalp. If I can get enough regrowth and thickening to stop that, I would be satisfied. Being able to cut my hair shorter and style it like James Dean might be unattainable (but one can hope.)

I am moving my laser cluster over 3 different zones, 20 minutes each. I will do my first Aztec Clay scalp treatment today before my laser session.

And thanks to everyone for these discussions. I'm learning quite a bit.
