3500 Armani - need another option

Post by Canadian1978 » Thu Feb 23, 2017 4:31 am

Hi Everyone! 1st post on this site and the first research I have done in over 10 years regarding hair loss.

Here goes. 10 years ago I recieved 3500 grafts from the Alvi Armani clinic in Toronto (office is now closed). At first, the results looked amazing but after 10 years I can see that my hair hasn't maintained. It was the strip method incase you are wondering.

So now I find myself searching again to do another procedure. It looks like FUE is the popular method now. Would love to get my scar repaired as well as a good transplant.

I don't expect to look like I'm 20 again, I just want a permanent procedure done to the top and back of my head. Maybe a little touch up of the hair line. I called the Armani clinic in Beverly Hills since Toronto is now closed. Dr. Armani is now retired and they quoted a price that blows me out of the water. Added to that is the American dollar exchange. The FUSS procedure cost me $10,000 CDN and that was 10 years ago. I am kind of worried when I hear $20,000 and up (in USD).

I am not looking for the cheapest solution. I agree with the video from the new Dr. at Armani that FUE can't be cheated. But my focus is on the top and back of my head with a little needed on hairline.

Any suggestions? I live in Ontario Canada.

Hello,

Thank you for the question. I am a consultant with Alvi Armani and am happy to hear that you were so pleased with your procedure with Dr. Armani.

Regarding cost, FUE is certainly the preferred choice these days because of the quicker healing and no scarring, then the old FUT method you under went 10 years ago. Fue has it's many advantages over Strip, but because it is more labor intensive, the price per graft is indeed higher.

Clinics charge anywhere from 6$ - 10$ per graft for FUE. At Alvi Armani we fall right in the middle of that range at 8 dollars per graft. Our cost is on par with any FUE pricing you will find.

At Alvi Armani All FUE harvesting is personally done by Dr. Baubac Hayatdavoudi to ensure the survival of each single graft in order to provide the best possible outcome.
