Okay. I have to pick one up! This is the coolest gadget to come out in a long time. Anyone else thinking of buying one (or already have one)?

Can't decide which color I prefer though....It comes in black or white.

What, nobody likes iPods? Are we THAT concerned about our hair that we can't enjoy a bit of music?

Okay, I just ordered one from the Apple online store. I was waiting for my local Apple store to get them in, but there was still a few weeks of wait time for the 4GB one to come in so I decided to just go for it and order it online.

Apparently, you can get a laser imprint of two lines of personalized text on the back if you order it from apple directly.

I'm looking forward to getting this gizmo in my hands!

Sam

P.S. I ordered a white one.

Yeah that ipod nano is definetely awesome. I have an ipod , the one that holds 40 GB and it is just an awesome thing to have especially when I am walking around campus.

Have you gotten the ipod nano yet Sam?

Yeah,

I ordered it through work. Apparently we get a discount on Apple products. I still haven't received it though.

Now there's ANOTHER new iPod. The video iPod. Steve Jobs is going nuts!

So do you use iTunes to download your music?

Yeah I use itunes to download some music. What I usually do though is just borrow a friend cd case with all their cds and then download it into itunes and then throw it on my ipod. Or if someone I know has a cd I want, I am just like "hey let me borrow that?" I am sure there are other ways of downloading music for free though.

I'm sure there are ways to get music for free. But I personally feel better paying for the songs I like. At 99cents a pop on iTunes you can put together some nice collections of songs for pretty cheap.

I have my iPod now, but my PC is in the shop for repairs so I can't use it to put songs in the damn thing till I get it back. :(

Sam have you had any problems with the nano getting scratches on it? I have heard some reports of that.

A little bit... It's weird, I've taken extra care not to scratch it up, but there are scratches all over the back.... I still really love the thing, but if they end up having to replace it with a scratch resistant one because of the lawsuit, I won't complain.

My older 40 gb ipod has a lot of scratches on the back too. I saw the nano the other day in a store and I was messing around with it. I can't believe how small that thing is! How do you like itunes so far? One time I decided to download and listen to a podcast and I have been hooked on them ever since. Have you tried listening to one yet? They have a couple on hairloss I think.

I really enjoy the iPod and iTunes as well. I like the fact that I can build a collection of just the songs I want, paying for only the best songs as opposed to buying the whole CD ever time. I still buy CDs but only if I really like the majority of the songs.
