Question
Hi, I am losing like up to 50 strands of hair I counted today in the shower. My dad isn't bald and neither one of my grandads are bald. I am only 20 years old and I am wondering what the deal is. I was wondering if there were any sicknesses/diseases that may be causing this or do I just bite the bullet and accept it.

The amount of hair that you lose in the shower is not a good indication of hair loss. Some people shed more hair than others. The problem of hair loss has to do with regrowth. If you are not growing back the hair that you lost, then eventually noticeable thinning will take place.
People's hairlines do recede a bit in the early 20's. This happens for both men and women. However, it is not that great of a difference when pattern baldness is not involved.
You might have male pattern baldness even if no other person in your family does.
