Merck agrees to acquire Sirna

Sirna is the company that is exploring applications for the hairless gene. Once upon a time, they said they would work this two ways: permanent hair removal and hair growth. However, they choose to work on the permanent hair removal first.

Since Sirna is in the news right now because of the Merck acquisition, I thought I'd post a link to their permanent hair removal pre-clinical data. Yeah, I know. We'd like to grow hair, but super easy permanent body hair removal would be kind of sweet.
