Break your bad hair habits

No matter how great we are at caring for our hair chances are we all have at least one, if not more, bad hair habits. Here are a few examples along with ways to help you break them!
Bad Habit #1: You do not cover your hair at night
In addition to helping your style last longer, covering your hair with a satin bonnet or scarf helps your hair retain moisture, prevents roughening of the cuticle that occurs during normal sleep movements against your pillow, and helps prevent split ends. If you are just not in the habit of wearing a scarf or bonnet at night, purchase a few satin pillowcases. These used to be difficult to find, but now satin pillowcases are available in most beauty supply stores, major retailers like Wal-Mart and Walgreens, and if all else fails, online.
Bad Hair Habit #2: You do not drink enough water
Hydrating your body from the inside shows through your hair on the outside. If you struggle with drinking at least 64 ounces of water or more per day, try some of the calorie-free, sugarless powders. In the past, Crystal Light was the only maker of such drink mixes, but now there are a variety of brands and flavors and even some that do not contain any artificial sweeteners. The fruit punch flavored drink mix tastes just like red kool-aid!
Bad Hair Habit #3: You don’t take the time to moisturize your hair daily
For some women, applying a moisturizer is difficult to add to their everyday routine. Sometimes you forget, sometimes it just seems tedious. Try a moisturizing spritz like Jane Carter Revitalizing Leave In or Bee Mine Juicy Spritz instead. They are quick and easy to apply and often give the hair a nice scent.
Bad Hair Habit #4: You hate swallowing pills and therefore do not take a multivitamin
Multivitamins are excellent for your overall health and definitely help your hair to grow long, healthy and strong. If you hate swallowing pills or always forget to take your vitamins try the new gummy vitamins. Gummies taste just like candy and do not require water to ingest.
Most of the time when we have bad hair habits, there is always a solution to help make it easier for us. The key is being creative and simply dedicating yourself to take better care of your hair.
