I just read a post on some forum where a woman stopped her hair loss after taking vitamin D. Would vitamin D help men too?

If you’re removing more hair from the drain than usual, you may want to take a closer look at your diet: Having low levels of vitamin D and iron could be playing a role in your thinning locks.Iron deficiency: Iron is important for your hair, nails and skin. Too little can cause hair to fall out, or make the hair follicles smaller so your hair strands end up being thinner. Stress: Stress causes hair loss, this is widely known, and seeing your hair fall out can just add to that stress. Hair usually falls out 1 - 4 months after the stressful incident has taken place.
Handling your hair with care
Avoiding washing it every day
Trimming hair regularly
Massaging the scalp
Eating healthy
