do I need to shampoo my hair after applying olive oil?

Hi. This is Sriram (M) from India. Am 23 years old. I am suffering from hair fall nowadays. So I would like to try olive oil. Say I am applying some olive oil my hair at night , do I need to wash it next morning or can I leave it free without washing? Because if I wash my hair regularly, am getting cough. Am ok with oily hair. is that ok ? What will happen if i dont wash it next morning? if yes then, how often can i wash my hair in a week and what type of shampoo should I use?

I think so. Olive oil can be very greasy. It will be uncomfortable if you let it sit for long hours.

Many people use olive oil as a daily moisturiser, you dont have to worry about leaving it on
unless of course you dont like your hair looking greedy, because it will, try to use an oil that is as pure as possible without added salt for exemple
that might dry your hair up
