Mild topical treatment against alopecia with encapsulated minoxidil

This isn't available yet..
A French academic research laboratory has developed a new solution for the treatment of alopecia. This treatment is based on an aqueous suspension
of encapsulated minoxidil in solid lipid nanoparticles. The application of this suspension allows a controlled and prolonged release on skin preserving the
scalp. Industrials partners for license agreement are sought
Encapsulation rate and stability of this suspension are higher than liposomal and niosomal suspensions. Lipids used for the SLN formulation are
naturally present in human skin what insures harmlessness and absence of side effects even after repeated applications. SLN suspension penetration
into porcine skin was identical to commercial products. The SLN suspension was non-corrosive while the different tested commercial products exhibited
a corrosive potential.
