I am a bit confused as to what you are asking? Are you asking how to regrow lost/balding hair or are you just asking how to grow longer hair in general-- as in grow your hair rockstar style faster. If you just want to grow hair faster there are several vitamins/minerals which help including biotin, silica, beta-carotene, Inositol, many of the B vitamins, MSM, D-3 (preferably take with k-2), and essential oils are reported to help too such as emu oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil.... etc. Also don't smoke, drink less alcohol, and drink more water.
If you are asking about natural hair REgrowth well this is a more complex question. You could try any of the aforementioned things but none of them are guaranteed to give you success. Right now no-one knows the answer to be honest you just have to explore many things and see what works for yourself.

You need to limit the number of times per day that you brush your hair. Each time you brush your hair, strands will break off and pieces will come out. By only brushing once or twice a day, you can limit this damage and keep your hair growing strong. Its good thing for all.

The most important thing is to trim the hairs every 6-8 weeks. Getting your hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks gets the dead ends off and prevents further damage and leads to increase in hair growth.

Excessive heat, sun, brushing, and lack of conditioning all affect how our hair looks and behaves. Also, once a day, try messaging the scalp rigorously with your fingertips. This will improve the circulation of blood to your scalp.

Trimming your hair’s ends periodically will also help to remove split ends and ragged edges. Doing this will stop hair breakage, and this will help the hair appear to be growing longer because it is not breaking just as fast as it is growing.

Excessive chemicals on the hair will only weaken the hair. This will lead to hair loss and hair thinning.
If you eat a good diet and exercise, not only will your hair respond, but your skin will too. Foods that are good for your hair include beans, fish, cheese, nuts and leafy green vegetables. A good vitamin may also help to supplement your diet. And drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. A hydrated body works more efficiently, and this affects the health of your hair, too.

new to the forum but going to jump right in.. I would say there is no definite way to grow long hair naturally, other than trying to reduce the amount of heat on your hair and excessive strain you cause your hair, in terms of brushing. Regular hair cuts will help with hair growth, but this will not stop it from falling out every now and then or even getting thin. Try not to use too many products and make sure you eat foods which have iron in as this helps with hair growth and regeneration.

Vitamins and lifestyle changes have been shown to encourage hair to grow and reduce hair loss. Balding is a genetic trait but good nutrition can play a part in hair
You should see a dermatologist or hair restoration specialist. There are many many reasons why you could be experiencing hair loss.To keep from pulling out too much hair after your shower, pat it gently with a soft towel - don't wring it out or towel it roughly

I have used a natural shampoo and blend of essential oils both called Johairba, few months later i m still losing as much hair as before and no noticeable regrowth , but the hair grows much faster, nearly twice as much, i have noticed it by the frequency to visit my barber shop, a good sign \:D/

A few tips I got while growing out my hair, now midback!
1. Do away with heat styling, any and all. Air dry.
2. Dont wash as often, it really doesn't need every day for sure.
3. Once it gets long enough, put it up out of sight. Forget about it
for a while and soon enough it will grow longer.
4.CONDITION alot.
5. Eat well and take vitamins
6. Trim only when absolutely necessary
Hope this helps some.
