Saphire, I am very sorry to hear that you are experiencing hair loss. For women, any amount of hair loss is devastating. I don't think you build a tolerance to the drugs, but you max out on the benefits from them. Hair loss is progressive. I think only excellent responders to these drugs have great head's of hair. It sucks, but there's no way to predict the extent of the hair loss that you will experience. Hair loss does seem to go in spurts. It can level out for long periods of time and kick in with a vengence. Or, the progression can be very slow and consistent. My brother developed MPB in his 20's. His hai...

OSH101 moves to the bottom of my wish list....
I was watching OSH101 as a hopeful, new drug candidate. I'm thinking it won't pan out. OSH101 completed Phase I FDA trials when the rights were still owned by Osteoscreen. Osteoscreen sold licensing rights of OSH101 to Neosil and Neosil was supposed to continue with Phase II trials. Really, they cou...

This is kind of interesting, the same stuff that Curis is testing for hair is being tested for wound healing. I guess wound healing and hair growth go hand-in-hand. It reminds me of Tb4, which is being tested for diabetic wound healing (and not so much for hair growth). New Report Suggests Hedgehog ...

This is encouraging, even though it's not directly hair-related. One of the stumbling blocks with stem cells was that animal cells were needed to create a framework for human stem cells. I am a bad one to ask about BCPs and hair loss. I blame BCPs for triggering my AGA. Definitely, I was pre-disposed to getting AGA, but the onset of it coincided with my trial of a tri-phasic BCP.
