ACell’s MatriStem MicroMatrix and dermaroller. After reading the Acell's wound recovery product multiplying hair, I think I might give it a go. http://www.bignews.biz/?id=832566&keys=cloning-transplant-restoration-hair Thanks for the link. Where would you get the MicroMatrix stuff from? Hitzig's tr...

Re: Which Bentonite clay!?!?!?!?! HELP!!!!!

Think about being out in the sun. We need a certain amount of sunlight for the vitamin d and various other reasons but if you stay out in the sun too long you greatly increase the risk of skin cancer.

It's just too much of a good thing, bro.

But in saying that, there's always time for pudding.

Re: Wanting something to switch to from Xandrox-15% plus

Did I not mention that this is a minoxidil/finasteride based regimen and that I've been on it for about a year? I think I've given it enough time to know it's not working out for me now. My hair is still deteriorating at the same slow pace as always although I'm still only about a NW II with diffuse...

I do want to get into it but I think OMG's taking a break over the holiday so still waiting on an email from him. Definitely worth a try cos you can add it to any regimen without getting in the way of what you're already doing. It's just the initial effort/cost that puts off most people. Still, with...

I had a look at their website and don't really have any desire to try this one atm.

For you brave souls giving this a go, they list their phone number on the website, give them a call Hong Kong time via skype if you have unanswered questions.

Re: Which Bentonite clay!?!?!?!?! HELP!!!!!

Jacob rates the lamas shampoo very highly, maybe have a look at that. There's always nizoral too which I still use (albei the Dr Lee version) and then follow it up with an awesome tea tree shampoo that I get from a place called Biome in QLD.

Checked some Chinese websites for this and all the testimonials I could find said it's BS. I spent a while on baidu after I read the 15 day thing thinking it couldn't do any harm to try but I couldn't find a single person who said it did them any good, just people saying don't waste your money. Re: Jacob's Hair Loss Story

Thanks for the update Jacob. Gonna keep hounding you now.

Does that mean you're playing around with supplements as well? In listing just topicals is it because you don't think anything else will play much of a part in your hair loss?

Perhaps more importantly, what state is your hair in now?

Re: LLLT does not work

All I've seen finasteride and minoxidil do is turn almost bald people into less balding people. In my situation, it's turned me from a slightly thinning and receding person into an obviously balding person with dry, thin, ratty looking hair. If that's what we have to rely on to regrow some hair then...

Re: damaging comb over/ long bangs?

I used to think I started losing my hair at a young age because I was always really rough when styling and home-bleached and dyed it a number of times before. Looking at my brothers though, who never did much with their hair, their pattern of balding is looking exactly the same as mine - same timeframe and everything. I used to use soap to style my hair and this would always become covered in hair after one styling which was the only time I'd notice hairs but thought it was pretty normal at the time. I do think I lost hairs to it but don't think it caused mpb, the hairs I lost grew back and then later fell out in different areas thanks to mpb.

If you're really rough with it, maybe you are losing hairs from doing the combover thing but if so those ones would grow back as normal if you stopped doing it IMO.

I think a major factor is stress. I've had some time off recently and thought I'd make use of it to improve my situation but due to personal issues and the worry caused by how %&$! and old I'm looking compared to even 2 years ago, I've just been stressed a straight week and a half and it shows in my hair. Gonna have to try to calm down and chill in spite of it or I'm gonna make myself unwell.

Re: LLLT does not work

I don't like this idea of trying something for 12 months and then evaluating results when we supposedly only have a 30 month window to grow hair in. This gives you 2 and a half chances to get things right. Basically, with fin and minox failing me after a year I feel pretty screwed. There's gotta be ...

Wanting something to switch to from Xandrox-15% plus

Hey, Been on Xandrox 5% in the morning and 15% plus followed by spiro 5% cream at night for about a year now. I've also been taking resveratrol, curcumin, green tea extract, taurine, zinc and a few other things from lef.org during this time. Haven't really changed anything at all for about 8-9 month...
