Re: Happy Anniversary!

You have a point Hapyman ... but I'm just trying to mimic their results, and so far I haven't. Granted the clinics' lasers are focused and rotating (and in some cases pulsing) lasers, but they're the same lasers I'm using. I can't focus or modulate my device, but I can try their protocol and see if ...

Re: Happy Anniversary!

Something else to consider about his answer .... most clinics use the 2X/week protocol. So maybe it's ok to increase time a little if you're only lasering twice a week... In other words, is it the treatment time or is it the frequency? Personally, I think frequency might be more of a problem than t...

In that same thread, Dr Maricle posted another response ... this one to my question if very fair-skinned people might be risking bioinhibition since he'd posted earlier in the thread that LLLT penetrates more deeply in very light skin. Ok, I've just checked out the comparison page on the Konftec website and it seems the Luce LDS 100 contains 36 x 660nm@5mW and 189 x 940nm@5mW lasers. I've got 650nm lasers, which will have to do. Anyone know where I can get cheap-ish 940nm lasers? http://www.konftec.com/html/EN/Laser_Hood_comparis...

Thanks jdp. One thing, the 4 different wavelengths are LEDs, not lasers. I finally got an email from someone at the manufacturer. Found out the lasers are the same we're all using (650/5mw). They also rotate around the helmet. He was less specific about the LEDs (the 280 light emitters), just that t...

a new salon/clinic laser unit

There's a fairly new (to me anyway) LLLT therapy device being used in a salon in Texas. The device is made by a company in Austin called ManeGain and their website is pretty thin (also, the phone number doesn't work and they don't answer their emails). Briefly, it has 56 diodes (don't know which one...

One more thought. As a teenager, I had really oily skin and used the harshest products to reduce it and try to clear up my breakouts. You might also want to try DermaWhey from Life Extension (see my post from a few days ago). Just checked iHerb and it's a 25% discount -- not 20%. And the promotion is still running. Not sure how long tho.

Also, FWIW ... on the iHerb site it says 1 capsule/day, but on the bottle it says 1 capsule, 2x/day. So I guess I have 1 1/2 month supply, not 3 months. :?

I use clay facial masks too (love Argiletz white) and always thought the "drying" was the mechanism that actually pulls the gunk out of the pores. I don't know. Still too many conflicting aspects. Not all inflammation involves swelling. I think what most MPB/FPHL sufferers experience is micro-inflammation and I do believe there's an auto-immune aspect to this ... the body attacking it's own tissues. Clearly DHT is a factor, but everyone has DH...
