Maybe Matthew had a transplant. But, you can swim in bonded hair pieces and they do look like they are growing from your head if you have enough money to maintain the really delicate hair pieces.

I can believe that about Brendon Fraser. I really don't know, but Colin Farrell's hair looks too good to be true. I did look into it seriously. I know the laser diode in the Lasercomb is no more powerful than a laser pointer. I'm not saying a laser pointer can't grow hair. Maybe it can, but you can buy a good laser pointer for $30.

I looked into the Lasercomb. I'm not interested in it. It's too expensive and I'm not convinced it works.

If some new drug doesn't come out before my hair loss becomes bothersome, then I will get a tiny hair piece. Hair pieces for women can be so discreet that most people can't detect them. :P

Dr. Martinick does not really know how they culture the cells at Intercytex. She was making her own conclusions. However, if you read stem cell news (and not just the hair growing kind), you'll see that they have found ways to culture the cells without using any animal products.

I think you should check out Lupus resources in your area. They could probably recommend a doctor that takes your insurance.

Someone should be able to help you. It doesn't inspire confidence that your derm would tell you won't be able to get rid of the lichen planopilaris.

How many dermatologists have you seen? If I were you, I'd check for one who has a special interest in treating lichen planopilaris and/or lupus. It's hard to find specialists within a specialized field, but well worth the effort.

Yeah, I was going to post a link to that article. It is interesting because it states that founder Paul Kemp was a guinea-pig in the first trial. He wants to grow cloned hair as much as any one else.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that cloning works as soon as 2010. That would be kind of SWEEEEEET.
