Re: Senescence in MPB
Inui et al. (2002) have reported that cultured balding DPC secrete more TGF- than non-balding cells. TGF- is known to stimulate oxidative stress in human fibroblasts (Thannickal and Fanburg, 1995). It is therefore possible that increased production of TGF- in vivo in response to androgens may initia...

Senescence in MPB
Came across this kinda on accident when researching telomeres. Kudos to Kingpin on introducing me to senescence. Previous studies have reported that DPC from balding scalp grow slower in vitro than DPC from non-balding scalp (Randall et al., 1996). In this study, we were able to confirm the slow gro...

Grapefruit extract may prevent metabolic syndrome: Mouse study
The citrus flavonoid naringenin may prevent cholesterol increases, and changes in insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism linked to metabolic syndrome, says a new study with mice. Animals fed a high fat diet and supplemented with the flavonoid did not gain weight, while other signs of the metabol...

You guys know that with Gogle Earth you can select street view from the left-hand column and then be able to click on the little cameras to be brought down to street level, right? A&G's address is most definitely coming back to a phuckin' apartment complex... why?

Joanne and everyone, the bloodiness and whatnot are from the PRP that's sprayed on following the injection, not the wounding. Not sure what to tell you about dermarolling with longer hair... suppose maybe they could dermaroll in one direction to try and not get everything all tangled... I don't know...
