The topical is very nice- perfect for daytime use as it doesn't show on the scalp and works great as a leave-in conditioner..for my hair at least. I just pump it right on the scalp..makes it a bit easier to apply. I'm doing 3 pumps spread out on the frontal area...1 in the middle..and 2 in the crown...

Yeah unfortunately those are the kinds of shampoo I don't care to use, but since my scalp seems to be plenty healthy with what I'm using, I guess it wouldn't make too much of a difference if I ever decided to start laser'n. I know scalp "peels" and exfoliating have been discussed in the past as well...

So Rod Stewart uses "oil of uly"..eh :-k The products mentioned in this thread are skin(although I guess they could be used on the scalp) products..and then there's the shampoo and conditioner. The only other thing I'm aware of is the topical/leave-in. Although I think he mentioned some other skin product(s) as well...not sure.

Are you sure it's discontinued? Maybe it's just where you purchase your stuff from? They still have it on their website: http://www.kerastase.co.uk/products/biotic.aspx and can be purchased at Amazon etc. Plus the ingreds are so different. Tempting to try it though!

Hey David..same here- on the delay. Prevagen claims to be calcium BINDING. I guess I could ask them f they consider it to "de"calcify. As for the NIH..while I'm sure it's good to have such info in there..it wouldn't prevent me from being interested in something just because it's not in the NIH datab...

I wonder how they compare to that Kerastase Biotic line that I love Well I know the Biotic uses some pre/probiotic type of ingredient..but as for how it makes ones scalp feel- wonder how they compare?
