I hope that it does work. I noticed that Intercytex updated their website again. They gave a re-cap on their products and where things stand as of the end of 2007. When trials are going on, the news is always good until they unexpectedly bomb out.

Louise, My scalp is also very sensitive to regular minoxidil 5%. I order propylene glycol free minoxidil 5% from Dr. Lee (minoxidil.com). If it wasn't for that formulation, I don't think I could use minoxidil. I heard that rogaine foam also does not contain proplyene glycol, but I haven't tried that...

I'm hopeful, but a little skeptical. Their 6-month update really focused on their facial rejuvenation product. I know they are closer to launching the wrinkle/scar product, so maybe that's why they only really talked about that. Who knows :?

The amount of hair that you lose in the shower is not a good indication of hair loss. Some people shed more hair than others. The problem of hair loss has to do with regrowth. I do not have any direct experience with bonded hair pieces. What I post is based on what I've read in female hair loss forums on these hair club places. Bonded hair pieces (they glue to your scalp) can be very nice looking and comfortable. You have to go in every 4 weeks to get the piece re-bonded....

It hasn't slowed me down. When I first noticed that I was losing my hair, it freaked me out for the first several months.

Now, I really don't care so much. I have other things to worry about besides my hair. If my hair loss gets too bad, I'll wear a wig with confidence.

If minoxidil causes excess body hair/facial hair, it's minimal. I would imagine that a man wouldn't notice a difference. As a female, I've gotten some extra facial hair and thicker eyebrows but waxing works wonders. People would not say that I have whiskers.
