Re: I'm 19, am I going to lose my hair. Advice?

This thread now looks like the "battle" between LLLT and HT, and the one who asked for advice can't even bother to come back for more... At least there will be a few viewers who hopefully will learn from this.... I don't know guys if you are affiliated with HT or just believe in it being the only cu...

Re: Is this hair loss?

MPB is present in 80% of men to a various degree. Look at your dad and if he has it - in 99% you will too - that is a sad fact of life.. at 26 you seem to be lucky, it may just be "maturing hair line". I would try LLLT in combination with DHT blocking and Minoxidil - tat is proven to work... don't b...

Are you saying only HT is works for MPB?
I don't think it does - if it is before "completion".

Re: Best Hair loss treatment

Hey kwithers Your black book may work for women who do not have MPB, but with men - there is no natural way to "treat baldness once and for all". There is no cure so far, until the gene is identified and somehow with GE altered/modified - MPB is here to stay.... If MPB is attacked on ALL fronts it c...

HT is not a solution in your case - as the receding hairline will continue its course...HT is best for those with completion...
I'd try LLLT - no laser combs please -they are useless toys..

Re: Receding hairline at 23? HELP

Your brother is 3 years younger so he may follow son in unlucky...MPB is like Russian roulette - in the and the last chamber comes...

In your case it may be good if you use LLLT device combined with DHT blockers and if you don't have any reaction to Minoxidil - as well. These 3 ingredients are most powerful available and must be used TOGETHER.

The weakest point comes to LLLT - there are so may %&$! products on the market it is not funny.
Never buy laser combs - totally useless. Larger units are in your case overkill. Difficult advice indeed. Can you build one by yourself? Do you know anyone with electronic background? It is not that difficult.....I would suggest a long strip covering the lost hair and hairline in its length and 30mm deep - 3 rows of laser diodes 5mW spaced 10mm apart. It would be a piece of art as it is not straight shape..

Try first find someone close to help you first - and if you don't find anyone then come back to me I can make one "to measure"..but it will take some time as I am retired and travel next month.

Re: Laserfish v/s Lasermax Laser Stand

This is sensible thread... Laserfish of blowfish (same?) is not a bad product per se... I would not say the same about Lasermax - its shape cannot cover all of your head effectively. Both devices do have diode spacing in such a way that the diodes are simply too far apart. a bit of science, don't ge...

LLLT does nothing to your skin - it just penetrates deep and stimulates what's below surface - hair follicles..
no tanning, now discoloring either....20 daily sessions are a breeze...

Re: Should I pay for hair therapy at a clinic or buy my own laser?

Definitely buy your own laser device - MPB will never go away and you will have to treat it every day.... Don't bother with laser combs - they simply don't work with MPB. They usually have only 1 laser diode 19mW so it equals roughly to only 4 standard 5mW diodes. To provide sufficient stimulation o...

Re: Lasercomb, still using it, but considering more

of course everyone who can should build his own laser device - because the LLLT products on the market are greatly overpriced - AND 99% of them do nothing for your hair. If you do consider to make it yourself don't bother with less than 100 diodes - if you don't want to spend hours every day "combin...

Re: Looking to buy used Laser Messiah OMG Helmet

why would anyone sell a LLLT device - if it was indeed working? Messiah helmet looks nice but is just a bunch of laser pointers inserted or glued into a plastic cap. And being an electronic engineer I'd say it will get quite hot "inside".... And the guy who sells the idea obviously does not have hai...

Re: After 16 years of hair loss, I FINALLY have a great head of hair! Pic of my HT at 1 year!

HT of course is the most effective way to "treat" MPB - after completion. There is a problem if done in early stage as the hair continues to fall out. It may have to be repeated. If money is no object than it is the very best you can do. As MPB hits usually in teens or early 20s the guys rely on par...

Hi Your photos look great, I guess you have an asset to worry about... . Let's talk seriously as if it is not a joke of yours. Re: I'm 19, am I going to lose my hair. Advice?

Don't be alarmed as yet. Examine your hair line vigilantly whether it recedes or not. I used to have a friend and we both experienced at 17-18 just like you - I am completely bald now but he has a full head of hair.... don't go the "hormone" propecia etc. stuff way. Read on and relax - there is no d...

Re: How is LLLT supposed to work???

LLLT provides deep tissue stimulation via red light with 650nm wave length which penetrates beneath the scalp and directly stimulates hair follicles thus increases blood supply. With MPB the hair follicles are literally "suffocated" by DHT that restricts their nourishment. There are 2 fronts to comb...
