You need to limit the number of times per day that you brush your hair. Each time you brush your hair, strands will break off and pieces will come out. Many people use olive oil as a daily moisturiser, you dont have to worry about leaving it on
unless of course you dont like your hair looking greedy, because it will, try to use an oil that is as pure as possible without added salt for exemple

For sure it won't hurt to add more vitamin D to ones diet but you are seriously thinking it can stop a hair loss of the kind of Alopecia, i dont think so
