Re: Capillogain® Tonic

Would be great to have a conditioner and styling product. Hair is drying out. Can't you just use a lightweight neutral conditioner? Fred the LabRat said somewhere you could use other products if you wait 10 or 15 minutes for the Capillogain to absorb first. Is there something I'm missing? Because m...

Re: 350z dude requesting help on thinning hair!

From everything I have read, the longer you wait to start treatment the more difficult it is to get back the hair you have lost. If you want to stop your hair loss you need to do take some kind of action. At least start using some kind of topical treatment, whether it is minoxidil or an alternative ...

Ask all your girlfriends if they know a good thyroid doc...if you are like me you will be surprised how many have had the same pr...

Re: Looking for a little advice..

I have heard that many people have bad reactions to both Rogain and the Costco version because they contain propylene glycol. There are other formulations available. I don't use minoxydil so I don't know which ones are good, but you might want to try to find a formulation that doesn't have the 'garb...

Re: A very important question about Minoxidil

You could also try Capillogain which has an ingredient that is closely related to minoxidil but in very low doses. Supposedly they use an encapulated delivery system which allows the very low dose to be effective, while cutting down on the side effects. And it has no propylene glycol. You can check ...

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum...I've been lurking and reading for a few weeks now. If you're interested you can read the introduction post I dutifully created. The short story is I am a 45-yr-old woman and I most likely have androgenetic hair loss, and I most definitely have very thin hair on t...

JessRose Hair Loss Story

Hi everyone. I'm 45, female, and had a whole bunch of diffuse hair loss a year or so ago that turned out to be from severe anemia. I got my iron up and my hair slowly started coming back, but about 3 months ago it started falling out a lot again, and now it's very thin on the whole top of my head. I...
