Re: interesting patent on colloidal silver
boroc - no, it just shrinks them until they are nearly invisible, same as mpb. minox brought them back, but they fell out when i stopped using it. but maybe ur right, maybe it works to fight mpb in some way, rather than repair.

I tried it, on some hairs I had removed via electrolysis....which Minox brought back temporarily, did nothing for me =/ If it works with stem cells it should had revitalized the hairs I tested it on.

Do you know anything about Aminexil? I believe it's an analog of Minoxidil, but is suppose to prevent/reverse fibrosis and hardening of the follicle.

Dr. AQ, can it be purchased via other means? I live in California, and suppose I could travel to Irvine if I had to.
Thanks

Pete if it works by balancing immune response, doesn't this mean it could protect/prevent hair loss? Minoxidil is only a growth stimulant, I assumed?

the burn gel has antibacterial properties, thats the only difference. the restore gel is too oily, but if it works for u, maybe theyll formulate a non greasy formula, they told me to update them on my success, and they seem approachable.

Re: Products for increasing HT healing/survival and scarring?
@iluvmyhair How many transplants have you had so far? How many hairs did you transplant on each one? You said you had scaring on your recipient area. Was it caused by a previous transplant? Or was it some out-of-the-ordinary situation which can be avoided in some way? ive had 2. both fue. both abou...

Products for increasing HT healing/survival and scarring?
What products would you recommend to increase the survival rate and healing of a FUE HT? My last one didn't grow in so well, even though I went to a top doc, I beleive this is because I had scarring in the recipient area. Thought about something like Dermatopoietin to prevent the new hairs from shed...

Nice as a styling agent, for those with naturally thin hair. Doesn't do much for those who are losing it, but I know there are many others with thin hair, like me, who could benefit from this. A+

Im interested in a topical probiotic shampoo, but am curious, if probiotics mattered that much, why wouldnt our hair be falling out from the sides and back also? our hair in the mpb pattern is sensitive to androgens, but ... where do probiotics come into play?

What would you guys reccomend as the absolute best choice for healing older scars? Re: Lamas- Chinese Herbs Regenerating Scalp Serum- w/apple stem cells
I emailed Elsom, and they replied with a pretty in-depth e-mail on how it should work, and it sounds simply like growth stimulators, but rather nothing to protect/prevent androgen-inflicted damage. While it may be great for some, I don't think it's what I want, unless I am mistaken? Basically their ...

They are. I've been in touch with them, they market their product to research facilities, not individuals, and definately not for hair-loss. I'd love to learn more about it though, how it works, etc, as I'm very curious.

Thanks! I looked into the ingredients, not sure how Terminal works, as I don't recognize anything much. Looks like I'd have to give up all my topicals to properly do the regimen. Jacob, does this help heal follicles, or is it simply a growth stimulant like minox?

Re: SUNLIGHT!
being in the sun raises vitamin d, and vitamin d has been shown to increase T, (and i think also DHT), if anything it might help grow body hair, but definately not scalp hair. you need to remember what makes body hair grow is what kills scalp hair in MPB susepticle men.
