Best Hair Products for Daytime

Which are the best hair products for daytime? Currently using Finesse Self Adjusting Mousse (extra control) and Clairol Alcohol-free Condition 3-in-1 Extra Hold Mousse. I tried dep, crew styling gel for men and others but those either make my close-cropped hair shrink, stiff (after drying) or flat.

Now, I only use propecia every other day (as part of a regimen) but before used it daily. In my experience, hair improved but scalp was oily with more sebum and mild crown improvement.

Used the Revivogen products also but switched to minimal amount of coal tar once a week.

Coal tar shampoos

I use a small amount of Neutrogena Coal tar shampoos on the weekend to remove buildup from Propecia use.
What are some other coal-based alternatives?
