Re: Helmet Fitting Question

The bristles should be just touching the scalp. If they are not touching - the diodes may be farther away than the optimal 2cm range.

Re: Actual helmet parameters

Your helmet looks great man - it's awesome to see all the different varieties people have come up with and the re-engineering that has occurred.

Re: The Black Beast is Complete!

I would be glad to help out medical science, but unfortunately I only have a few gray hairs and they have shown up first in my beard... Don't think I have the patience to build a handheld device to try and regain color in those 4 or 5 hairs - much easier to just yank them! If my hair ever starts to ...

Re: The Results of my 138 Diodes DIY P-Helmet

That's a very interesting design - definitely unique! Reminds me of the old full head hair dryers that used to be in salons...

DermMatch Before/After

Now that my helmet is complete, I finally get to start my LLLT treatments! I decided to get my hair cut nice and short - makes you realize how much a long haircut can cover up the bald spots. The Black Beast is Complete!

What up Gang, I have been lurking over the past few weeks while constructing my first helmet. Lately, the negative posts about shedding have concerned me (especially after the massive diode purchase), but it seems there are more positive results than negative and it's a bit too late at this point to...

Re: Silicon laser mounting pad

Thanks hapyman, that's great to know and now makes sense as to why I didn't see it on OMG's site. Perhaps AixiZ should remove the OMG branding and statement about it being the recommended product for the OMG project. I recently came across OMG's site while searching for reviews on LLLT and now am co...

Silicon laser mounting pad

I was looking around ebay, found AixiZ's store, and noticed they were selling a silicon laser mounting pad. I have read through overmachogrande's site and instructions though I don't remember that being mentioned anywhere. It obviously replaces the foam and makes it easier so we don't have to punch ...
