NOOOOO! The tech sounds good??? Come on! We have to be smarter than this! Apart from the obvious contradiction that you pointed out regarding the use of "drugs" the entire text REEKS of %&$!!

The words "natural", "herb", "pure" etc are thrown around like they carry some sort of weight, intended to invoke a false sense of some mystical "value". In reality those words mean absolutely nothing, they prove nothing and are telltale signs of a scam. Should we really believe in fairytales and magic 2010? Whether a drug works has nothing to do with if it's natural or not. AIDS is natural, cancer is natural. Pace-makers are unnatural. Minoxidil is unnatural. Finasteride is unnatural. Fruit is natural. Snake venom is natural. It is obvious that there are both good, bad and neutral things that are "natural". In other words, the words "natural", "herb" etc have NO intrinsic value (neither good nor bad) and its use in a commercial text would indicate that someone is trying to bolster up their product with a value that doesn't exist.

The only ting in that concoction that is going to be (slightly) effective is minoxidil, which is a highly engineered drug having nothing to do with herbs.

If anything, I find it highly unlikely that we'd find out that something readily available to use would provide a sudden cure. After all, people have been trying just about everything they find around them to cure their hair loss for ages. You can bet that everything you can imagine with the things that are available to us in nature has been tried by someone at some point during human history. At this very moment, someone is smearing semen on his chrome dome, just to see if it cures his hair loss. Someone else is smearing faeces. Someone is eating grass. Someone is eating otters. Someone is eating bark. Someone is bathing in peyote. Wouldn't it be reasonable to expect that anything that made a drastic difference would have been known by now? It's just not that simple to crack this nut.

I'm sorry to go off on a rant and I know Jacob is really into natural remedies but there as just been so many scams lateley I'm getting p---ed off that we (collectively) are so desperate and gullible. Herbs? Homeopathy? Healing crystals? What's the next thing we should pay for? Quiji boards? Prayer? Bloodletting? Seanses? Tarot? Ghost creams?

WE NEED TO WISE UP!

Strictly speaking, neither finasteride nor dutasteride are antiandrogens. As you know, they are 5a-reductase inhibitors. For the sake of clarity, I think it's best to refer to them as just that: 5a-reductase inhibitors. The reason is that there are "real" antiandrogens (stuff that usually interferes...
