Re: Hair Clubs: Bosley, Hair Club For Men and other options
mrsmith, Have you considered using propecia or 1/4 of a proscar once every other day. Dr. Wong from Hasson and Wong told me that even 3 times a week should be effective in keeping your hair while minimizing the possibility of side-effects like gyno. Sam 3 times a week? I may go back to fincar or fi...

Hair Clubs: Bosley, Hair Club For Men and other options
Can anyone explain the differences in each group and what benefits they may offer? I haven't ordered more information, but I'm interested in a stage based solution.... Maybe something like topicals + transplants + various temp hair replacement (pieces) I'm trying to keep my routine, but have not reo...

I think I noticed better results using finpecia after only one month. However, I had been taking large doses of saw palmetto for 3 months prior. OCuld have helped it. Fincar - I've been taking it almost 3 months I suppose and the improvement has been very marginal if there at all. I am going to give...

Well I know short is in, but the clipper cut short style that can be spiked is fading. Most White collar men I see are sporting mid-length (3-6 inches) hair parted off-center or on the side. Movie examples are Christian Bale's hair in batman Begins, and Ewan McGregor's (Obi Wan) style in Star Wars: ...

I've heard about Kirkland 5% and Xandrox.
Does anyone know about this one being sold on eBay?

Transplant Success Stories?
Point me to those please ;) I wish I had stayed with a regimen 3-4 years ago when the simple things were effective and before I lost more hair. Did anyone use any special financing for the procedure? I know there are some of us here who can't afford to knacker 2 grand or more out of our wallets. I a...

Yeah you're right. Short crops look good, but I think they are more "current" if worn like Kiefer's hair in "24" or Russell Crowes hair in Gladiator. Clean, no excessive guey product and naturally contoured to the shape of the head... no hard clipper-cut angles or artificial shape (flat-top). I gues...

Current Hairstyles spite thinning hair
I have noticed many trends lately and both trends originate from those with lots of hair. The trends for longer mid-length hair are divided by an age line and both are very similar the hairstyles of two movie characters (one middle aged and the other a rebelious young warrior) in a very famous movie...

Fullmore and/or Toppik: What's the difference?
I've tried Toppik, like it but it seemed to hinder scalp breathing and is messy. Couvre... I've had a tube since December and it works, but takes longer to apply than Toppik and doesn't "thicken" hair. I'm more diffuse with a small crown balding spot. I also have a Norwood 2-3 hairline. Toppik was g...

Procede. Anyone try it?
I searched and found no topics on "Procede". Their claims are astounding and I would love to just make one application a month.
BUT, here's what I bet they are banking on.
They predict that most customers will NOT drop the other treatments in their regimen.

I haven't considered the transplant option. If I can find a way to finance it, and I am in a good maintenance plan, I would do it. I don't think I would go back to a boyhood hairline, but I would fill in the temple areas that crept out last year and the "balding" spot area. My spot is the same; stil...

Finpecia OR Fincar
Fincar is a generic Proscar; Finpecia = generic propecia Fincar yields the same dail dose of 1mg a day, if quartered or fifthed; amount 1/3 the price. Which is more effective? Here's what I did to start to get back on regimen: Month of minox (need to refill) 1-2 months of Omega EFAs 1-2 months of Sa...

I have always felt that eating your vitamins is better than digesting a pill. Can we save our sons from Hairloss? - A Theory
I doubt castratos ever go bald, but no one would wish that for their young male sires. We might however, find ways to discourage rampant hormonal overload and sensitivity. Possible strategies to avoid hairloss (in brief) 1 - Encourage good cardiovascular health and eating habits. Strong circulation ...

Success Stories from the Norwood 3 (vertex) and beyond?
Please post here if you were a Norwood 3 (vertex) or higher and successfully made your way back to Norwood 3 (normal) or Norwood 2 (my goal). My story: age 35 I started thinning around age 20 (genetic) and by 21, I was a Norwood 2. This progressed to a Norwood 3. My widow's peak stayed on strong, bu...

Fincar VS Finpecia
Is Fincar cut into 4 parts, each taken daily, as effective as 1 finpecia 1mg a day? That's the REAL question. If so, a 10 ct. blister of Fincar could last 40 days. The cost for 10 from GenHair http://www.genhair.com/fincar.html is only $9. 30 day (120 divided) is $27. I've already sent out for my fi...
