Hi afai, I am 23 and am pretty much on the same boat as you. I agree with the simple regimen, with the right products you can effectively stop your hair loss and even regrow some. Right now I use propecia, then hairmax laser comb 3x a week, and the revivogen shampoo. Other than that I take a simple ...

As an individual who started experiencing hair loss in his last year of college when almost all my friends still had a full head of hair it was a bit difficult and frustrating. Comments I would have usually found humorous like people calling me an "old man" or poking fun at my receding hair line qui...

Since I started experiencing hair loss I noticed that not using products as much in my hair has had beneficial effect on my treatment. For now I don't use any gels or sprays in my hair and let it naturally work itself around which looks OK, but I think it's better than dealing with less than satisfa...

Thanks for the reply Dod ;) I like the revivogen shampoo. I have frizzy hair and it seems to help keep that under control. On top of that it reduces itchiness for me and seems to have made my hairs stronger and grow longer on top. I don't know if its helping regrow any hair but I would have to say i...

Topical Suggestions?

Hi Guys, I have been following these forums for quite a while now and appreciate all the good information that is shared back and forth ;) My current regimen includes propecia, lasercomb 3x weekly and revivogen shampoo along with a good multivitamin and b-complex supplement. This has done wonders fo...

Hi grand hustle, You were on the same boat as me so I'll just tell you what I did and you can decide for yourself what to do... I first got thinning in the temple areas and then a little in my crown area when I was about 20. It seemed pretty evident if I didn't do something about it soon it was goin...

Hi Scarp, Your story is very similar to mine. At around the age of 21 I started to notice hair loss. Didn't do much about it mostly because I tried to ignore it and hope that it was some sort of cyclical thing. However, when I actually started to do something about it, I noticed that you can actuall...

Well they do say that there is no negative effects for overuse ;) I actually found myself doing the same thing initially too. Eventually my laziness took over and I kept it to the 4 second beeps except I do still go 3 (instead of 2) times over my temples because that's where I'm seeing the most prog...

I am curious about this topic because my mother also suffers from hair loss (now I know who to thank for my own :x ). Its not terrible but noticable and I'm sure more bothersome for her than it is for me. I would like to give her advice on what sort of treatment to use and though I have had great re...

blueshard, you seem to be having the same experiences I'm having with the lasercomb. About 3 months into it I am still noticing new hairs in all the original areas where my hairline used to be showing up. Many have reported that positive results continue years into using the lasercomb... they weren'...

As someone who had pretty moderate acne in his teens, I tried several different treatments topical and then eventually pills. They pretty much already have several extremely effective ways to treat acne. With that said, I have noticed that propecia does a rather decent job at controlling acne (I hav...

I know what you're talking about Sam. When I first got the lasercomb I kept wanting to make the effects come faster by doing it every day. Like the manual says, it doesn't hurt to do it every day, but it doesn't help either. If you're like me eventually you'll get used to having it around and you'll...

Sam, I agree with Tricia. I believe the way the lasercomb works and the areas it most benefits does not cross over to how propecia helps hair loss anyway. A lot of people who do like the lasercomb notice that it makes hair thicker and healthier and grows back hair in the temples whereas propecia cla...

hey blahblah, I am also in the same situation you are in. I am 23 years old and actually my hair loss started when I was 21 or so. I also noticed the same symptoms you are describing. However, now 2 years after my initial noticable hair loss I can say that I have more or less halted the hair loss an...

Wow there are some critics to the lasercomb on that reviews page. I just have a 2 comments regarding what all those people have said about it: 1) Agreed even the lasercomb people say the comb does not work for everyone. That's why they give us up to 20 weeks to try it and see if it gives you any cha...

a little update

Hey all, First off Sam, I feel this thread is out of place, I didn't notice there was a forum board dedicated to lasercomb so if you can move it I wouldn't feel like such an idiot anymore  . Anyway, I wanted to post a little update almost 3 weeks after my last post regarding hair shedding and g...

I agree with Sam. Any side effects you may receive with propecia will disappear eventually after you stop taking it. Whereas the possible benefits of taking propecia will stay as long as you continue to faithfully use the drug. Really this is the way any non-surgical solution for hair loss currently...

I read an article about a british company toying with hair cloning that predicted they would have it available to the general public at 2010. I imagine bosley is just as on top of their game if not better so 2008 seems like a good estimate. As I recall, the british company had already successfully p...

What discourages me from them is several complaints I've heard about how they leave your hair feeling after you use them (either too oily or too dry). I have just recently started researching...

HairMax Lasercomb Usage & Questions

Hi all, I am a 22 year old male from california who has been dealing with hair loss for the past 2 years or so. I am a very persistent person by nature so when I first noticed my hair falling out I started researching all I could to figure out what I could do to curb this problem. I immediately saw ...
