I haven't posted for a few months, because after being on Yasmin and minox for a year, my hair began to grow back enough for me to ignore the reality of thinning hair. I am still thin in the hairline and I contemplate adding either the laser comb or another topical to help the frontal area. Tricia ...

Why? Doesn't revivogen have azelaic acid in it? I have heard it stinks? Can I apply it right after rogaine? I like to use tricomin in the morning because it doesn't leave a residue in my hair. If anything it seems to act like a volumizer.

Thanks

Xandrox or topical spiro?

I have had significant regrowth from using rogaine 5% except for my hairline which is still too thin. Adding a dht blocker to my regimen seems logical. Should I begin with xandrox or try topical spiro? Thanks

Yikes, I am ready to order xandrox, but wish to keep my highlights. I have wondered about these topicals doing things to my color as well.

I have contemplated propecia as well. My dr. gave me a script to spiro but I am hesitant to use it. I have regrowth with Yasmin and rogaine. Why mess with it if ...

Tricia, that is uplifting info. I am just biding my time, hoping to find a permanent solution before menopause hits.

Tricia, I am curious as to why you aren't using a topical dht blocker? I am contemplating the addition of xandrox or topical spiro, so I am researching these possibilities. I use rogaine and re-started the bcp with some success.

I also am intrigued with idea of a HT, but how do they know that they ...

Thanks, Sam. I am planning on topical spiro or xandrox 5%, but I have to wait for my consult with Dr. Lee. I also copied a recipe for topical spiro from Heralopecia.com, but I'm concerned to make my own the first time. Ph balance etc. I am not a chemist.

In regards to itching, those tips are great ...

Piper's Hair Loss Story

I am a 37 year old female with diffuse thinning. I experienced my first shed when I was 20 after a perm in a learning type salon. At the time I blamed it on the perm. Of course, it was not noticeable to anyone else.

I didn't shed again until after I had a baby. I went on the bcp to help some minor ...
